Annual iftar 2026

 Didn’t expect that I could not puasa the 2nd day but Alhamdulillah managed to complete the 1st day of Puasa.

And the jiran without fail shared rezeki with us. 🥹

Grateful.

Annual iftar with siblings in law returned real early this time. And I couldn’t believe that our last iftar together was back in 2021. Been 5 years? Hmmm. Unless I didn’t have it on records. Heh. SIL cooked a storm as usual.

Dendeng balado, kari ayam, roti kirai, pacri, ayam grg. We brought along rojak and talad pisang while the other sil had choc moist cake and tiamisu. 

Thankful for the rezeki and more thankful for the bond we shared. 🥰

Ramadan Goals

 Bismillah.

Ramadan’s here. So let’s set some realistic goals to achieve before Syawal. Insha Allah. 

Happy that the lights are up! Just in time before Maghrib. 

Had a last min decision and wrong 1 I would like to think, to Jewel then to Amk. When we already planned to have lunch and settle groceries at Amk. Made home just before Asar. 

Since today last day to get almost everything done, I ironed my clothes for this wk and next! Yay. 

Oh ya them goals.

- to be minimalist really for buka and also for Syawal (go low for the kuihs and erm baju)

- read more pages of Quran instead of just 4

- start spring clean the house early

- rid footwear that I’m not gonna wear anymore

For now, can I have the sun back pls? 

Why?

 Why do I feel like I’m not ready for Ramadan?

Still so much to do.

Yesterday we had Yu Sheng cos sis’ friend sent it over. 

Alhamdulillah. Such a burst of flavour. 

Saw rainbow on the way home yesterday. 

Missed the sun today. 

 

We only paid $1.70 for these. Cos of the $38 voucher. 

SIL packed so much for us.

That we had these for supper. 

She even cooked opor at the last minute.

Finally had my waffles before Puasa. 

And we cracked open this fortune cookie from Vivo.
