It ain't about going on fancy dates or showing off. It's about being with a person who makes you happy in a way nobody else can. When you see the person you like smiling, it's beautiful. And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it.
She's not perfect, neither am I. And the truth is, the two of us will never be perfect. But if she can put a smile on my face at least once, hold on to her and give her the most I can. I don't have to be on your mind every moment. I don't expect more than you can give. I smile when you make me happy. Miss you when you are not there. Because perfect guys/girls don't exist. But there's always one guy/girl that is perfect for you.
The best place in the world is in the arms of someone who will not only hold you at your best, but will pick you up and hug you tight at your weakest moment.

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two before bed helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

RIP Paul Walker
Such a sad day...but lots to reflect on.
Made me realise how life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts who travel with us even when the journey becomes dark and when you feel everything in your world is broken.
When you are around someone for so long who loves you it's easy to take them for granted. One of the many challenges is to keep things fresh and not taking for granted the other person presence.
For me it can be as simple as a hug to show the other person how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate them in my life.
As the saying goes, "Never ignore the person who loves, cares and misses you. Because one day, you might wake up from your sleep and realised you lost a diamond while picking up stones"
No one said the journey would be easy. Choose the path that matters in the long term, the choice that will never hurt the one who cares for you the most. It might seem difficult at this point but the right choice is the one that takes the most courage although it seems impossible at first.
Remember that holding onto something good for you now, might be the only reason why you don't have something better.
You won't be alone on this journey, I promise.
I could hold you and hug you forever...if you would stay in my arms.
