Saturday Paper A La Mode....

Happy Saturday everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous week!
This week the challenge over at
is anything goes.....and  I had a lot of fun making this project!! We are sponsored this week by
I used the digi stamp Nature Fairy and printed her out and then cut her out and added some Wink of Stella to her...although you really can't tell now.
(In the digi, she actually has a little butterfly in her hand-somehow I lost that little piece and now my printer is out of ink!)
So, no little butterfly for now-after I get ink I can always add it!

I also cut out a moon and some stars on my cricut to add to my little jar as well.
I found this idea on Pinterest-and the first time I tried it, I painted the jars.....that did not work so well!! This time I used watered down Elmers glue and tissue paper.
I added some paint to the lid but then ended up covering it up! I added lace, ribbons, beads,  and cut outs, as well as a few star cut outs from the glittery paper as well, ( you can find the glitter paper at THE CUTTING CAFE  SHOP) and then I embellished them with some half pearls, and added a battery light!
I think my granddaughter will really like it!

Here is what it looks like with the lights off....

Let's write a letter.....

Hello! It's that time again for THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG inspiration!

This week we were asked to use the new set from THE CUTTING CAFE called
We just don't write letters like we used to...now everyone just texts....but it is fun to get a nice letter in the mailbox! So, this set is all geared up to help you with that!

It has many options for your papers....and the inside has fun little pockets to hold  your papers and envelopes, and even a pen holder!
I added a couple little strips of some matching paper and flowers on the pockets for added depth.

And I love this little folded box ...it keeps everything together, all wrapped up in a nice little set!
I added a little strip of light colored paper under my bow to make it pop!

This set even comes with a page of suggestions/ideas for how to start and end your letter.... so even if you haven't wrote a letter in a long time, it will now be easy peasy!

Hope you hop on over to THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG on 9/21 to check out all the other great ideas for your sets, and also for more this awesome new set offers!!

StarStampz...Alice Chibi....Wedding Card

Hello, I wanted to enter this card into a challenge, but I got it done a day too late! This fun image is from StarStampz and is called Alice Chibi. I had so much fun decorating this up....hopefully it is not too overboard! I put glossy accents on the time pieces so they look even more real,  wink of stella, some cute little cards,  flowers, washi tape, and a sentiment from CardzTv stamp set: Encouraging Thoughts. My sister had a themed (Alice in Wonderland) wedding ....so this card is for her!

Thanks for stopping by! Can you believe school starts in a couple days?!!!
I am so sad, it went by way too fast!

Paper A La Mode Outlawz Challenge....

Hello! Well, I am in high hopes that Blogger is playing nice and this gets posted today!

It's time for a new challenge over at Paper A La Mode (OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES).....this week is Anything Goes!
We have two sponsors this week- StarStampz  and  Robyn's Fetish.

I have used StarStampz's - Spring Strawberry Digital Stamp....isn't she adorable? Even though this is not Strawberry Shortcake (I LOVE everything Strawberry Shortcake-my daughters room even had a Strawberry Shortcake Ceiling Fan when she was little)..... this image reminds me of that-so of course I LOVE it!

I used some Nuvo Crystal Drops on the Strawberries to give some added texture as well as some Wink of Stella to make them shine!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you get the chance to join the challenge!

Teachers Supplies.....

Hi everyone!!
This week at THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG we were asked to make either a Pencil / Apple Treat Box, or a Pencil / Apple Shaped Card....(both found at THE CUTTING CAFE) I went with the Pencil Treat Box.

I liked the example so very much, that I also added paper clips in the box for the teacher! In another one that I made, we also added eraser tops...sorry I don't have a pic of that one.

The sentiment is also from the same set, and the bumblebee is from CardzTV stamp set: Pretty Posey.

Don't forget that over at THE CUTTING CAFE SHOP, Regina has lots and lots of gorgeous papers and crafting supplies, as well as you can now order Clear Custom Stamps!!

Hope you will also take the time to stop over to THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG on the 21rst and check out what awesome creations the rest of the DT made....remember Regina always gives away 3 files to one lucky commenter!
