Squigglefly and Sweet Sketch Wednesday

HI! I am having a great day today!
First, I was the one who got to leave early from work today--I went to a garage sale and bought several goodies to craft with-AND I have had time to make a card for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge. I have used this adorable little image from SQUIGGLEFLY called: BEARING GIFTS, colored it up with my copics and used Designer papers and ribbon from SU. I used some stickles and flowers from Petaloo. To You sentiment is from SU as well as the inside sentiment "wishing you the happiest birthday yet".

I am also entering this into:
Birthday Crazy Card Challenge & Giveaway-over at MY PINK STAMPER-anything birthday.
Have a Great Weekend--and Thanks for stopping by!

The Cutting Cafe Specials, and a card.

I am excited to show you one of the newest cutting files from THE CUTTING CAFE today! It is the ELEPHANT SHAPED CARD-Template-Cutting file. I LOVE ELEPHANTS--I think I got that from my Grandma, she collects them!! I have used my MTC to cut out this little cutie, and then made it a touch smaller and cut out again, for the patterned paper. I added some gems with my I-rock and a google eye, flower and ribbon. This set comes with sentiments as well--the one I used on the inside of the card says"Thanks a Ton".

I also wanted to remind you that you can win THREE of your very own files-templates from THE CUTTING CAFE--you just need to comment on TCC blog after viewing the VERY INSPIRATIONAL--MONTHLY INSPIRATION, which we did Fathers Day/Just for the guys. The winner will picked from the blog comments
on Thursday the 16th. You also can receive a free file with any purchase made today the 15th. Just in time for Fathers Day---go check it out!!

Happy Saturday!

Hi all--hope you are all having a happy Saturday! Emily wanted to use some of her birthday money for a new game for the WII--she picked out Mario GoCarts. So, she and Kevin are upstairs playing, (she is driving pretty darn good for being one handed right now!!) and learning the skills of the game--so I got to come down and play for a bit! I have a new image from THE CUTTING CAFE today--it will be available real soon! It is "A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY" circle sentiment. It was perfect for this super quick card!!

One of the lady's who sells my cards at her place of work-called yesterday to say she was all out--and had some special orders for me-about 12 cards--plus more to re-stock the card basket....so I better go get busy! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Just a quick note

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't been by in a couple of days! We had to take Emily yesterday to her appt. ( about 31/2 hours away) to have her new cast put on--the first one had to be cut, as she had so much swelling. We found out all looks good--but we do have to go in a couple of weeks and they have to do a quick surgery, since there was all the swelling--some skin healed over one of the pins that they put in her elbow-but all else looks good--thank you for your thoughts and prayers! I hope to stop back in tomorrow!! I have to go back to work tomorrow--and Emily is really bumming about it!!
Have a great day!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp with The Cutting Cafe

Hi all!! This is my second post of the day-scroll down for SSW card.
I have used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp to make this card. I have used the file from THE CUTTING CAFE--It's road trip time again-printable stamp set which includes 74 images and two (2) shaped cards!! So many different ways to go with all of these options!!!
You are also getting a sneek peek of my Monthly Inspiration by THE CUTTING CAFE which you will not want to miss--watch for it on June 13th--our theme this month is Fathers Day/manly or boy cards.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday with TCC and SF

Hi all!!
I haven't had much time to craft--Emily still needs lots of extra loving care--but I was able to get a card done to enter into two different challenges. I am entering this into the Squigglefly Challenge (triple digits) and Sweet Sketch Wednesdays Challenge. On this card I have used:
THE CUTTING CAFE-Apple shaped Card set.
SQUIGGLEFLY-Multi kids
Designer papers from DCWV-the grade school stack.
Embellishments (apple brads)-by Hot off the Press

This card is for the "end of the year" Thank you card for Emily's teacher, and since Emily just broke her arm--I just had to manipulate the little girl digi-and bent over her arm and added a pink cast just like Emily has. Hope you like it--have a great weekend!
