Masked Father Christmas 2020 Ornaments: New Colours!

Thanks so much for all your ornament orders, guys!

I've now sold out of the baubles with the royal blue background (because I've run out of that blue felt)... so I've stitched some in mint green and turquoise:

You'll find the Santa-in-a-facemask ornaments in my main shop, and over on Etsy.

Bargain Imperfect 3 inch Embroidery Hoops

I've mostly sold out of embroidery hoops at the moment (you guys are clearly planning lots of stitchy projects!) but I've just added some bargain batches of little 3 inch embroidery hoops to my shop.

I check all the wooden hoops I sell very carefully and any I'm not 100% happy with (because of marks or other small flaws) get set aside... and now I'm selling off some batches of the imperfect hoops at a bargain price!

These embroidery hoops might not be perfect but they're still nice little hoops and would be great for making Christmas ornaments or for other small projects.

Click here to find them in my shop, and here to browse all the other stuff that's new - I've added lots of crafty supplies and vintage finds and other fun stuff recently!

Christmas 2020 Felt Ornaments: Santa Wearing a Face Mask!

I couldn't resist sewing a special felt ornament to commemorate the deep weirdness of 2020!

I liked how this cute and silly felt masked Father Christmas bauble turned out so much that I've decided to sew a batch and pop them in my shops.

You'll find them in my main shop here and over in my Etsy shop here.

My shops are set up with UK shipping only but if you live elsewhere and would like to buy one of these ornaments, please do get in touch!

Please note: I've got very limited quantities of the royal blue felt I used to make these Santa ornaments and won't be able to get hold of any more before Christmas, so if you're interested in one of these please do order early to avoid disappointment.

Sew Easy Felt Poinsettia Brooches for Christmas

Want to sew some pretty felt poinsettia brooches?

My newly updated Fabulous Flowers PDF sewing pattern is the one for you!

The PDF includes step by step guides to sewing large felt flower brooches...

... plus some matching flower embroidery patterns. When I launched the pattern last year a comment on my Instagram page made me realise that this pattern would be perfect for making poinsettia brooches and I'm so pleased with how they turned out!

These are big and bold brooches which make a real statement. They'd look fabulous pinned to a winter coat, or you could glue several flowers to a homemade Christmas wreath.

Already bought my Fabulous Flowers pattern and want a copy of the updated version? Send me a message with your order number and I'll get in touch as soon as possible.

You can make these to look like real poinsettia plants, with yellow seed beads in the centre to represent the flowers...

... or use gold beads instead for a more glam festive look.

These brooches would make lovely Christmas gifts (I've given some as gifts myself!). I'm also happy for you to use patterns you buy from my shops to make items for sale at craft fairs or online.

Click here to buy my newly updated Flexible Flowers pattern from my Etsy shop (the file will be available to download immediately after purchase).

If you're based in the UK you can also buy it from my shop (I'll email you the file within 24 hours)..
