New Cardz TV Stamp Set "Heavenly"

I just love this new "Heavenly" stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps. Most of the sentiments in the set are angel themed. I, personally, think they are perfect for cards for my sweet granddaughters. This adorable card was a request from my neighbor for her granddaughter. While I was talking to her about a card she mentioned that she calls her granddaughter her "special angel". What a coincidence that she would mention this phrase right after I got my new "Heavenly" stamp set in the mail from Mary. There is a sentiment that says "My Special Angel". I knew I had to find the perfect angel image to go with it. That came from the Cricut cartridge Once Upon a Princess. I die cut the words "you are" from My Creative Time metal dies then stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card and added a small die cut heart.

If you would like to order this stamp set you can find it HERE.

The Cutting Cafe Round Basket

I hope wherever you are, Spring has sprung. Living in Florida, we've passed Spring and gone straight to Summer. It has been very warm, but I love it. After spending the last four years here I've gotten to the point I can actually tell there is a Spring season here. There are flowering trees that bloom around February and there are trees here that lose their leaves in the winter and get new growth, too. The one disadvantage is there is always something blooming here so it's non-stop allergies. That's okay because as far as I'm concerned it's better than cold and snow. I thought I'd give a little spring treat to a friend with a little greenery and put it in this adorable Round Basket With Handle from The Cutting Cafe. This went together in a flash. All of Regina's cutting files/templates come in SVG, MCT, PDF and WPC so no matter what cutting machine you have or even if you don't you can make these. I used the PDF file and printed it out then hand cut it. Then to fancy it up a little I cut a piece of white scalloped trim, then did a little hand sewing on it and put it around the basket. I added a tiny tag that says "Happy Spring".

New Cardz TV Stamp Set "Critter Punnies"

So glad you stopped by today. I'm so excited to share my project. When I got my new Cardz TV "Critter Punnies" stamp set and a fabulous new file from The Cutting Cafe called Treat Cup Cards, it was a match made in heaven. The perfect pig to go with the perfect pig sentiment. Away I went, couldn't wait to get it made. I used the SVG file and my Silhouette to cut all my card pieces. You can find this file at The Cutting Cafe Shop and I suggest you take a look at the video Regina made on assembling the treat cup cards in her "Watch Me Work Wednesday" video section on her blog. My first card took a bit of extra time to assemble but it was so much easier after watching the video. I plan on making more of these of these cuties and I'm also going to be making one with a ladybug. I know I'll be able to put the next one together so much faster. My papers are from My Mind's Eye. I just had to use those cutie googly eyes with the big lashes. On the inside of the card is a little sliding door for the recipient to retrieve the goodies in the treat cup. I just know my granddaughters are going to love getting these cute little cards.

The Cutting Cafe Vending Machine

This week at The Cutting Cafe the Design Team is showcasing a totally awesome 3-D Vending Machine Template and Cutting File. The vending machine is approximately 5.5x2.75 inches. It comes in PDF, SVG, MCT and WPC. I used the PDF version which allowed me to print and hand cut the file. Basically, what you have is two boxes that stack together. The bottom box with lid is large enough to fill with treats along with the treats that fill the top box. It also comes with three different lids, 36 sentiments and the pieces that you decorate the box with to show the coin slot and handle that turns to dispense. This makes fabulous favors for parties, showers, etc. Make sure you head over to The Cutting Cafe Blog to see the rest of the Design Teams creations. Thanks for stopping by.
