Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Challenge

Today I have a card for a boy I'm sharing for my Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles challenge Design Team assignment. I finally got around to using my Oxide Distress Inks and I love how easy they were to use for this background. I simply used a sponge blender to add Distress Oxide Faded Jeans, Broken China and Wilted Violet. My space images came from the Lawn Fawn set Out of This World. I used the Cardz TV Stamp Set More Encouraging Thoughts for the sentiment on the front and stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I hope you'll play along with this challenge over on the Cardz TV Blog for a chance to win a set of Cardz TV Stamps. Thanks for stopping by.

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Challenge

It's time for another fun Mailbox Smiles Challenge over at Cardz TV. This time for my Design Team card I just had to make something using my new Lawn Fawn Magic Slider Dies. I thought a fairy theme would be perfect to go with this fun sentiment from Mary's Cardz TV Stamp Set called It's All Good. The sentiment reads "May your day be brightened with sunshine and spinkled with stardust!' The elements that make this a magic slider card form pieces into a little envelope with a pull up flap that reveals the images colored. Here's what it looks like when you pull up the little card to reveal the colored images underneath.
Such a fun interactive card and I know my granddaughter is going to love it. So glad you stopped by today and I hope you'll play along with the Anything Goes challenge by linking up your creation at the Cardz TV Blog HERE!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Challenge

Hello Friends! Today for my Design Team card I used one of my favorite Cardz TV Stamps sets "More Foodie Punnies". I just wanted to send a card to one of my grandson's to remind him how much we love him. I was recently looking through some of my Cricut cartridges and came across this image on the Locker Talk cartridge. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for this sentiment. I added the first part of the sentiment onto a banner on the front of the card and then stamped "Burgers & Fries" on the inside.

I hope you'll play along with the challenge over at Cardz TV for a chance to win a set of Mary's stamps. You can link your card on the Cardz TV blog HERE. Thanks for stopping by.

Cardz TV Mailbox Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends! It's time for a new Mailbox Smiles Challenge over at Cardz TV. For my Design Team card I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Just Chillin". I needed another birthday card for a grandson. I decided to make this one a little interactive for him and went with a shaker card. The "Just Chillin" stamp set has this adorable penguin along with an ice cream cone image. I stamped the ice cream cone in a pretty turquoise color and turned it upside down for a birthday hat by adding a little twine and an enamel dot to the top. I think it turned out so cute. I also added an enamel triangle in orange for the penguin's nose. For the shaker element I used a frame from Pretty Pink Posh and filled it with sequins and tiny birthday related images from Lawn Fawn. I stamped a sentiment from the "Just Chillin" stamp set onto a banner for the top of the card. I hope you'll play along with the challenge and link your card over at the Cardz TV blog for your chance to win some Cardz TV Stamps. As always the theme is anything goes.

The Cutting Cafe-Fun with Bingo Cards

This week at The Cutting Cafe Blog the Design Team is featuring projects created with any of Regina's Bingo Card files. I used the SUMMER BINGO CARDS printable stamps. I chose the bingo card titled FLIP FLOPS because I thought it would be adorable with some die cut flip flops on it and I knew I had some flip flop paper in my stash I could use for the background. I simply print and cut the file then attached it to the background paper. Next I added a die cut circle, the sweet little flip flops and a cute sentiment banner. A quick and easy card to send to my granddaughter who just finished her last day of elementary school. I can't believe she'll be off to middle school come September. The years pass so quickly.

Make sure to head to The Cutting Cafe Blog on June 21st to see the other amazing projects the Design Team created. My favorite of the bingo card files is the Christmas one. I've used it many times to make a fun bingo game for the grandkids to play for the holiday. Check this link to see one of them. I've also done a Halloween version here. Now would be a great time to whip up one of these and have it ready for the holidays. Thanks for visiting today.

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Challenge

It's time for the new Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Challenge. For my DT card I decided to make a birthday card for my grandson. I've said this before, but boy cards are such a challenge for me. I decided, what boy doesn't like to eat? So I looked through Mary's food themed stamps set and chose this Hot Dog sentiment from the Cardz TV Stamps Set "Foodie Punnies". I cut the hot dog image from the Cricut cartridge Simply Charmed and added some googly eyes for a little extra fun. On the inside of the card I used the sentiment "It's Your Day & Happy Birthday" from Cardz TV Mini Messages.

I hope you'll have a chance to play along in the challenge. Link your creations, Anything Goes theme, over at the Cardz TV Blog. You'll have a chance to win some of Mary's Cardz TV stamps. Thanks for stopping by.

The Cutting Cafe Road Trip

I can hardly believe that the summer season is upon us. We are usually on our annual trek north to visit family and friends at this time of year. Sadly, we have no plans to travel this summer because we feel the trip would be too difficult on our aging dog. Last year's trip was really rough and for the first time he didn't do well in the car. We know our time with him is getting shorter because he is 14 years old, so for now we'll stay close to home. But, speaking of road trips this week's Cutting Cafe assignment for the Design Team was to use The Cutting Cafe Road Trip Time Again Printable stamp set. This set is so darn cute. It comes with 74 images and two shaped cards. Lots of bang for the buck with this set. I used two of the background images (road and large polka dots) for my card, then added the adorable car with the trailer on the back. I printed and hand cut all my images for the card. After I added the car and trailer I cut out the cute stack of luggage, tied a piece of hemp twine around it and added a little tag to the top of the stack. My sentiment is cut from another colored background piece that has all kinds of travel phrases on it. To finish the card off I decided to add some silver sequins to the centers of each tire. You'll want to see all the other fantastic projects from the Design Team. You can catch them at The Cutting Cafe Blog on June 7th. Thanks for visiting today.
