Hap Hap Happppppy New Year!
Not much has changed for the new year....I'm back in school, back to work, and back to the crazy life!
This semester I have 2 classes that I am loving so far: the first is Mother/Baby and the second is Complex Disorders. I already feel like I've learned more in the last 2 weeks than I did the entire last semester. Just a different way of teaching I guess, and perhaps a little more dedication on my end, but it's nice not to dread class on a weekly basis! I'm also taking a statistics class at night, which I DO NOT like....however I'm doing my best to get through it. That is the goal = to get through it. Blake is busy working away at Kennecott, he is loving his job and getting some great experience and opportunities out there. Hopefully one day he will be the president of Rio Tinto and I can spend my weekends on a beach somewhere far far away from UVU =) One can wish right! Exactly.
2011 Goals for Emily Wilde
Hmm other goals:
Start playing tennis more. I remember this one time when I used to be really good at tennis. And I'm wasting my talent. Heavenly Father would not be proud. It's time to pull out the old tennis skirt, put some sweats under it, and whack the ball around. Deal.
And last but not least, I am going to make Blake give me a massage once a day. Because I am a nice person.
Good Luck with all your new goals friends! Cheeeeeers!

Merry Christmas!!
It's always fun to get so many nice presents, and like every other year I felt overwhelmed at how much my family and I are really blessed with. This year was a great reminder for me of what Christmas should be about. Not the presents, or how much money is spent, but a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior and remember him. It really hit me hard this year that the best part of Christmas is spending time with family and thinking of our Savior who made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. The presents, they are always nice, but I hope that next year I can try to focus more on what's important in life and do something to show my Savior how grateful I am for him.Merry Christmas everyone!
