Hey guys and gals,

we have seen exactly 300 people celebrating Christmas with us last Sat!!! Not only that, we have 37 people who have said Yes to Jesus!!

With God all things are possible. Amen?

This week is gonna be even more exciting. We have booked buses all over Singapore to fetch the people to Kallang theatre.

The waiting places are @

CCK - Joyce (Bus IC)

The bus will leave at 1.30pm thus bring your friends there before that!

This is so cool... the event in kallang is gonna be great too...

WAH. THIS IS SUPER COOL. (and freaky.. lol) BUT.. IT'S THE SPIRIT OF GOD WORKING!!!!!!

its gonna be long but super exciting! so, its a MUST to read on!


jolene and me were were talking on the phone ytd nite. talking about stats and den discussing about our groups. as we chat, we felt so burdened!! cos our cgs are not growing!!!! we simply poured out our hearts when we chat.. and the burden became stronger and stronger..

we decided to have an extended no-agenda prayermeet on monday for God to speak to the pple through prophesies.. however, we thought that we JUST HAD to DO SOMETHING!

and God prompted us to cast vision to the whole unit on sat instead! we got soooo excited! cos we wanted pple to get involved in serving God and giving their best.. so we rallied the 4 CLs to pray for a word of prophesy so that we can speak to the group on sat..

we began praying at 2am and 4 prophesies came.

God told him that he is looking people who are after his heart, ppl who are righteous and blameless. Many people worked extremely hard but they do not seek God so it's just human work.. and some were merely serving by following the crowd.. people were misfocused..

i saw 2 pictures. the first was a view from a high rise building. top view whereby you can see greenery, buildings etc.. which symbolises the big picture.

the second picture was a person who is surrounded by big crowds. she was very distracted by the surroundings and are merely following them.

it reminded me that some people has misfocused and forgot to look at the big picture; which is working for the glory of God..

she saw two lakes filled with fishes.. the fishes in the first lake were swimming in all directions.. all of them were going in their own directions..

the second lake was one that shows fishes swimming together in a crowd along the current,
showing that they are following the crowd, yet not following what God wants. ppl outreach they also outreach, but our focus should be God.

wendy's prophesy was the summary of it all.

she saw 7 pictures.

a wizard hat, a dog with green eyes, a knife, a painting, a pair of shoes, a pond with a duckling and a golden coin.

the dog was wearing the wizard hat, holding a knife and trying to cut into the painting. (symbolises devil trying to destroy the painting; which is the big picture that God has for our lives.) and den she saw the pair of shoes walking to the pond.. God is wanting to tell us to turn back to him.. go back to our foundation, which is jesus..

the water in the pond den evaporated and turned into a golden coin.. why gold? Gold is precious, valuable and expensive. which is God's promise to us that we will be like it! when we turn back to him, God will make us like gold.. he wil bring us back to becoming his precious and precious children.. and that surely, he promises to give us our 40 as well!

wow! dun you think that its so freaky!!!!! ahh, i mean.. it so cool la!! God speaking to 4 different ppl about the same issue, and all the prophesies are inter-linked! wendy and me were praying tgt.. when aaron smsed me his prophesy, we freaked out! when we called jolene, we were TOTALLY freaked out. cos its just..... ahhh.. scary! we got goosebumps lar.. cos its all about the same issue; turning back to God!!!

oh yes, we are very convicted that it is possible! 40 is possible!! although we need about 10 more ppl to hit our goal, we will persevere on and give our best for this last week!

im very sure that prayer works wonders.. the most important thing is to go back to God! rely and depend on him no matter wad! Only when we do things with him , will he be able to work even more in our lives and our groups!

and last thing.. hit ur cg goals! give ur best to God! chiong this week!! be part of northwest's 240! if u dun hit cg goals, it most probably means that you will not hit ur unit goals!!! if u dun hit ur unit goals, it most probably means we will not see 240!!! get my point??!!

dun be an observer. play a part in reaping the harvest!! =)

The Harvest is Here!

Wow just 3 days, and we have witnessed 17 salvations!
Isnt it true when the Bible says that the harvest is plentiful?

Because of your obedience, you have just changed the lives of 17 people for eternity...

I really wanna affirm all you harvesters for your obedience and hard work. It never fails to warm my heart when i witness all your passion to do the work of God... Saw wendy and her team at JE doing survey, heard countless stories of your SOWing, how you perservered on and worked hard.

I'm so proud of serving in this team, with people like you :) (No flattery intended...hehee) Anyway i am also trying to bring my friend to know Jesus too. Managed to get to know 1 person from the specs shop and meeting my long lost pre-believeing friend tonight... quite nervous, pls pray for me.

We are moving on towards 240! To tell you the truth, this is a scary goal! At least for me... But i always tell the Lord, "Lord, what can you not do?"

Wouldnt You see us through? Our eyes are on you Lord

I may not see it yet, but i believe.

We are believing God for great things, for miracles! We will not settle for anything less amen?

Let's create history in the Youth! We believe God so much thus we work so hard! Chiong ah...

faithfulness

as deep as the valley goes,
so is his faithfulness.
as high as the emergent grow,
so is his faithfulness.

alright, i'm here to recount God's faithfulness in FNW5. =)
indeed, the lord has been faithful to this care group with 13 converts for the past two months,
and from this 13, one was added to this care group on 19th november 2006 at 11.58pm.
in additional to that, this convert is secondary one. :) well, this conversion took place over msn.
God has given us technology, and we better make full use of it man.

to further add on to the short story, i met this convert up with my team of leaders; sathya, sherman and yuen han, for dinner. He has a great desire for God, and even asked how can he be a shepherd. In no more than 24 hours after his decision of knowing Chirst, he has read book of gen till the noah flood there and the first few chpts of John. :) amazing?

i'm utterly amazed at what God can do, when we have the desire.
let's continue to see more harvest flowing in.
300, here we come.

layout for our NorthWest Blog. Thus, we are holding this competition to find the best layout for our blog, the winner will get the latest Youth Alive album All of the Above worth $20.

NorthWest Breakthrough 250

hey NW... just came back from a leadership conference in thailand.. the topic covered was A Dominion Church... something i learnt is that God called us to rule and reign over the everything in this world.. we can be people of influence... and it doesnt start when we grow up to a certain age... it starts now!!! we all can be influential people in our families, schools, cgs, etc... wherever God puts us it's for a purpose... so as Christ-followers we need to rise up to be all that we can be in Christ... wanna encourage all of us to start building our foundations right in God... love His Word... so that we can strong and biblical Christians who will make a difference in every part of society... remember: It all starts now!!! Love God, love people...
