Goodbye Mushroom Farm!
I've been meaning to do a Valentine post for the last week but haven't got around to it, and now we are about to pack the computer so it's my last chance. Breah was such a cute little Valentine. I had to get her that giant lady bug cuz it matches her room, and the Mommy+Me=Love shirt was equally irresistable. Then Grandma Nellie sent her the Sweatheart outfit, and of course had lots of mail and email from other fam, so she knows she is loved! Brandon and I had a nice valentine dinner--Heart shaped pizza with red peppers and articoke hearts, but i forgot to take a pic of my masterpiece. Breah also had her 4 month check up--she weighs 13.5 lls! She's in the 46 %ile for her weight and the 96th for her height! She's just growing like a little weed-- i wish there was a way to pause her for a minute, but she does get to be more fun all the time. Oh, and the best/worst part of the day is that we woke up to 20" of snow!
Anyway, today is a sad day! Yesterday was Brandons last day at the farm, and tomorrow we are headin south! We are going to trade the snow for some sunshine and cactus! We are sad to leave, but excited for the adventures ahead of us. Today is also a sad day because we had to say goodbye to the mini-minivan. Those of you who know the mini minivan are probably thinking it's about time, but she's been a good little car and served us well for the last 6 years. But after spending $600 to fix her, only to find more problems, we came to the conclusion that it would almost be cheaper to find us a new(used) car (it is 17 years old). So we called the Kidney foundation adn we'll just have to leave it behind and they will come tow it off for us!

Our Big, Sleepy Girl!
Something happened to our camera and it hasn’t been letting me upload pictures, but it works now so I can catch up. This first picture is Breah playing in the Johny Jumper again. This thing has been a life saver for us as we are trying to get everything packed and ready to go. She can play in this wherever we are and not feel like she’s been abandoned.
Then we have the jeans. My poor baby is in a bit of a transition stage, she has grown out of 90% of her 0-3 mo clothes, but the majority of her 3-6 mo clothes are too big. I put these jeans on and just about died laughing—they almost came up to her armpits! But of course she is cute in whatever she wears!
After our house hunt in St. George last weekend, Breah’s routine was all out of whack. I was cooking dinner Sunday and thought Breah was playing happily on the floor. We heard a little bit of whining, and then all of the sudden it was silent. Poor girl must have been exhausted and had played herself to sleep.
I’ll never win any awards for sleep training, but every now and then if I catch her at the right time, I can just lay her down and she’ll put herself to sleep. This was my favorite doll when I was a kid and it has always just sat in the corner of her crib, but one day as she was “going to sleep” I noticed her talking to the doll. So now when she’s in a good enough mood I lay them down for naps together. Brandon went in to get her the other day and she had wiggled her arms out and was playing with it, they are such good friends!
This next series is Breah waking up. We swaddle her to go to sleep, so this is her after being freed: first the arms (don’t you love that face?), then the legs, and then she’s ready to play.

We had to take this video of Breah's first time in the Johnny Jumper. As you might know she loves to be on her feet, so this worked out great. She was so cute and stayed in it for a while.
GOOD NEWS!!! PRAXAIR CAME AND TOOK ALL OF BREAH'S MONITORS AND OXYGEN. WE ARE OFFICIAL DONE WITH ALL OF THAT, WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!

Yesterday, Breah was blessed at our Sacrament Meeting here in Fillmore. Besides the snow that didn't allow some family to attend, it was a nice day. Breah didn't like being cuddled and circled by a bunch of strangers and let everyone know of her discust. After the blessing was over she won everyone’s heart with her big smile. We appreciate all of our family that braved the weather and came and supported us on Breah's big day. We are also grateful for the many calls of support from those who couldn't make it. It was a neat day and a real blessing everyone was able to arrive home safely.
