The BL
The Biggest Loser makes me cry EVERY TIME I watch it. (not over doing it with the upper case here). Tonight I cried.... and then I almost cried again when I realized it was only a half episode. :(

Television
There is a show called Handy Manny and I don't not like it BUT I do have somewhat to say about it. Whenever Manny needs a tool or some wood or something for a project, he goes to the store with a large hammer above the door and I am IN LOVE with the super magical prophetic desk that the lady stands behind. It always just happens to have EXACTLY what Manny needs and the perfect amount.... It is the Poppins bag of animated "Tool Time". Also, when Manny says "on three everybody!" then he counts "uno... dos... tres!"... I am left behind waiting for "three"... call me white... call me a good listener.... whatever... THREE!
It has been really nice to have a job. Not only for the money though. I also have something to do and a reason to plan my time and get things done in my spare time which I had a lot of.
I went Visiting Teaching last night and had a special moment. Here is how it goes. The early saints had their homes, nice things, history, reputations, great humidity, GREENness of everything, Rivers, hills, and everything else about the East that they would have loved. They were comfortable and secure. Then, they move more than a thousand miles through snow, mountains, indians, and more wearing a dress (for the women) and stop in some desert full of BROWN! They had no homes ready for them. No hotels with free breakfast. No supper comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. No stores to get food or clothes that they used up wore out fixed up and now have to do without. NADA. In many ways it is not the same as what I am going through BUT we left the Bubble traveled over a thousand miles and are now in this place with no mountains, it is so sticky humid, no family but eachother. Because they had and documented their experiences, I am able to read about it humble myself and say that I am not the only person going through the way I feel. I am not the only person who has had to leave home for opportunity.
I do know that for some reason we are here. More of a reason than just for Goodlookings job (though it is good). I need to remember that the world doesn't revolve around me and I just need to cool my jets and find joy in the journey.

Kiddie Conversation
This is now week two of My Nanny Job and today we went outside on the playset to swing and play.
I can't remember how we got to this point but here it is...
Bigger Kid: you're adopted
Arizona Sun: I'm not adopted. I'm not your sister.
Bigger Kid: You're not MY SISTER!!! Who are you?
Arizona Sun: I am your nanny.
Bigger Kid: what's a nanny?
Arizona Sun: A person who comes and watches you during the day when parents aren't home.
Bigger Kid: Do you have kids?
Arizona Sun: No
Bigger Kid: You should GET kids.
Later on (she is still on the swing)
Bigger kid: Are you married?
Arizona Sun: Yes.
Bigger Kid: And you don't have kids??
Arizona Sun: No.
It just shows me that little kids think just like we do. Their understanding may be a little off but they still think about it. (I am pretty sure she already knew that I was just there to watch her during the day)

A couple things from this week.
I started Nanny job and did two days of it this week. I do it from 730ish till 330ish three days a week.
I ran almost a whole mile and am almost back to where I was last fall(ish) timewise and abilitywise.
I forgot about crockpot Thursday so now the menu is a little skewonkus but I think by Sunday, I can be back on track.
Envelope budgeting is going pretty good.
I am working on a super cool Project but I don't know how to finish it.
We watched Rear Window last night and it is interesting how the lines of a movie can change your mind.
Watched the "new" Narnia movie in 3-D and I must say I am not 100% on board with 3-D.
Question for anyone who is interested in commenting :: What do you have to be doing to drop a cell phone in a toilet?? I have never done it so I am not sure how it works.

Christmas
So. I am not so good at taking photographs but here are some (and I MEAN some) of the highlights of Christmas at home.
Here we are at the Mesa Temple lights (Pano that I took on my phone)
Here is GoodLooking playing in the leaves with BOY
(For some silly reason, I had a hankering to rake the leaves in my moms yard... So I did then BOY came out and started messing up the pile so GoodLooking came and saved me.. GoodLooking taught BOY about electricity on the slide and they were shocking eachother like crazy and it was pretty darn funny)
YIPPIE!!! I got to go to Eegee's.. I have so much like in my <3 for this place and "flavor of the month" (Especially if it is watermelon!!)
CONE OF SHAME in Mesa area
I had a really good time spending time with my family! I sure do miss them and hope that they miss me enough to come visit me.

My Vacation
I got my hair cut
In the motherland, we had the MOST AMAZING mexican food I have had in a long time.... I am still thinking about it, got to see my best friend from HS get sealed to her one and only and baby boy (so CUTE), I got to play with nieces and a nephew. I spent almost a whole day washing a car then the rest of it helping my dad and GoodLooking shingle the addition to the living room of my parents house. Visited with family and went running almost everyday.
In the InLawLand, had a great Christmas Morning, we celebrated birthdays (two kids decided to come RIGHT before the new year), went to the temple, had really cute family pictures done, didn't get to go to Super Wok, played lots of games, and I went running almost as much as I should have.
::STORY::
Did anyone else get Wii Resort for Christmas??? We didn't (it would have been ridiculous if we had because we don't even have a television much less anything Wii) BUT the inlaws did and we have been playing it A LOT. There is a game called swordplay and I am pretty amazing at it. Some small cousins (I don't know ages but smaller than me) came to play and make cookies and just hang out and we were playing swordplay against eachother. I had beat everyone and the smallest boy comes along and knocks me in the water!!! basically... I got showed.
