Girls Trip to St. George

Let me tell you, This trip was a blast!
I decided to invite a bunch of ladies in my new ward to spend a weekend in St. George. It was really fun to get to know them better!
This group is hilarious! and SO easy going... a blessing when you put 9 girls together!
We mostly relaxed by the pool, we got very deep reading done ( People magazine, US, OK .. get the picture? hehe), went to eat out a lot and we went shopping.
Some of the girls ran the Midnight St. George race and some of us stayed in the couch a.k.a. Couch potatoes, watching " Persuasion".
We decided to make this our annual tradition! I can't wait for next year!
Thanks so much girls for such a wonderful weekend!

March was all about Jordan

My little Jordan turned 8 this past 12th of March! To celebrate, he invited some of his friends to his Bday party at Boondocks. He had so much fun, specially Laser tagging!.
Later that week, Bryce and I took him out for his Bday dinner at the Melting Pot, his favorite restaurant. He loved the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue the most!
This past Saturday the 28th, He got baptized by his dad. We are so proud of him!
I just feel so blessed to have Jordan in my life. Of all the great mothers in the world, Heavenly Father picked me to be his ! What an honor! He is such a caring and wonderful little boy. He always amazes me with all his knowledge. He has this great capacity to memorized sometimes not so useful information. I love his spontaneous hugs, they always make my day! I adore his smile... Please don't ever change my beautiful boy...
(Pictures of all the events below)

Ojala nunca cambies Jordan!

We Have Moved!

Hello Everybody!
Finally I have a little time to update my blog and to tell you what we have been up to. We moved! After living in Sandy for 12 years, we decided to purchase a new home in the beautiful, and still not crowded, city of Riverton!
We are enjoying it so much! It is our first brand new house. It has lots of space and it is located 0n a FLAT street! I can't even tell you how much the kids are loving to be able to play ball or ride bikes without going down the hill !
Do we have tons of work to do? YES! this Spring is going to be pretty busy for the Wilsons. The yard is not landscaped yet...ugh! and to make matters worse there is a whole 0.44 acres to work on! hahah! ( I'm laughing out pure stress, not because I think it is funny)
For all of you who want our new address, let me know and I will make sure you get it as soon as posible. Our phone number is still the same.
For all our friends in our old neighborhood...We miss you tons!
Lorena

Draper Temple Open House

Today, we took the kids to the Draper Temple Open House. It was absolutely AMAZING! The kids enjoyed it very much.Their favorite part was the Sealing Room, they loved the mirrors and their meaning. Another favorite was the oxen carved under the Baptismal Font. They thought that was "cool". As a Family we are grateful to have Temples close to us and we are grateful to know that we can be forever together.

Old St. George

Every Winter Break, We invite Grandma Kathy to come with us to St. George. It is one of our favorite traditions! We like to go swimming and enjoy the beautiful weather.
The blue, clear sky is amazing down there and the part the I like the most is the incredible landscape. Here are some pictures I took when the kids went on the "Short and Awesome Hike".

Increible!.

New Year Party at The Lobo Blanco's!

Last Night our Family spent the new year at the Lobo Blanco's house! Rosi cooked such an amazing dinner! It was food there to feed an army!. It was really fun for the kids. They played, ran and stayed up 'till 1:30 am.In Guatemala( were Rosi is from) they peel and eat oranges at midnight for luck during the new year. So at 12 o'clock we were trying to eat our oranges and hugging each other as fast as we could! it was really fun to see! Thanks Rosi and Gabriel for such a wonderful night! (pics below)

( Fotos abajo)
