First Day!!

Bryce had a GREAT first day at preschool today! He has been talking about it since we visited on Thursday so I knew he was excited. I thought that would change when we got there but he totally suprised me by smiling at everyone and walking right in his classroom like a big boy! He asked me to stay, but he was smiling as he said it because he knows that Mama's aren't allowed at school. :) His teacher said he was a very good boy and that he had a great day. He talked my ear off on the way home about what they did and said he's excited about going back on Wed!

It was stormy and rainy here all yesterday afternoon. Here's how I found Anyhony and the kids!

New school for Bryce

Anthony and I have been debating for weeks now about Bryce's preschool. We had him registered 3 days a week at St. Luke UMC (where he went last year). We have no problems with St. Luke and it is pretty close to the house, but something was telling both of us that he belonged at First UMC downtown (where we joined in June). It is a longer drive for me everyday and that is mainly what was keeping us from doing it, but we decided his education and fun time is way more important than a couple of extra minutes in the car every day. We finally made up our minds yesterday morning that we wanted him at 1st church, so I called and they had just had a MWF spot to open up in the 3 year old room. It was meant to be! We all went to the school in the worst flooding I've ever seen, downtown was covered in water! Luckily Anthony went with us because I never would have gotten both kids in and out of the car by myself. Anyway, we ALL loved the school!!!! Bryce even woke up from his nap asking when he was going back to his new school! His teacher seems wonderful and I can't wait to hear what he thinks after the first day. He starts Monday so I'll post pictures then :)

CeCe is 8 weeks old today. We made it!!!! The day Bryce turned 8 weeks old our world turned upside down. That was the day we were sent to Children's Hospital because they suspected a subglottic hemangioma. While I knew the chances of CeCe having one too were very slim I couldn't help but think about it. I kept telling myself if we made it to 8 weeks I could relax and here we are!! I laid in bed this morning listening to her quiet, perfect, non labored breathing and let out a huge breathe of my own.

Wacky and Big!

Bryce and CeCe were invited to a friend's birthday party last weekend. The birthday girl wanted everyone to dress 'wacky'. It was fun dressing them up! I was in shock that Bryce let me dress him the way I did! He had fun with it and helped me pick out CeCe's outfit too.

I can't believe my baby is big enough for the Bumbo! She loved it and smiled and smiled the whole time, until she got tired and started bobbing! She sat up for at least 5 minutes though!

Of course big brother had to try it out too. He has now put it on the couch and is sitting in it to watch Elmo (which by the way, he asked me today if Elmo lives in Pensacola!)

Memories

Anthony, Bryce, CeCe and I spent the week (Anthony was there for the first half) at my family's lake house. We had the best time!! CeCe was so relaxed and Bryce always has fun at the lake. I took tons of pictures so I will let them tell you about our week. We had lots of firsts.....

CeCe's first boat ride. She loved the boat! We would lay her down in her life jacket and she would fall asleep.


First sleepover outside. Bryce and Anthony slept on the futon on the screened in porch one night. Bryce thought that was the coolest thing ever!

CeCe's first battle....Jude drew blood on my poor angel's face!! He loved her chubby cheeks. His mama cut his nails right after that so no more blood was shed!!
