Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

Here is Bryce feeding Reagan from her food stash (his new obsession, but he LOVES it!)

Here is Bryce playing in the park with his best buddy, Evan.
Here is Bryce with his new watering can. He helped me water the flowers this afternoon. So cute!
Here is Bryce snacking on a cookie in his favorite spot. We take the wagon up to the main road by our house and he loves to watch the cars and trucks go by.
This is my new favorite picture! Bryce and his Daddy. My Big Guy and My Little Guy.

We got a new computer!

Anthony bought us a new computer this weekend. Our other one was having way too many problems, so we decided it was time to get a new one. I'm so excited to have Internet access again. It is amazing how attached I've gotten to the Internet. I have email, playgroup and of course I have to check on Quinn, Izzy and Ethan every day. It is taking a while to get everything loaded on the new computer but once we get the camera software and the video camera software we have pictures and video to add to the blog. Check back soon!

Bryce is doing great. He loves playing outside in this awesome weather. His wagon is the #1 toy right now. We go for multiple rides a day in it. He is so funny walking around the house moving things from here to there and hiding them. I found the remote from the living room in the desk drawer in the office earlier today!! Other than the occasional grilled cheese sandwich and cheez-it crackers and goldfish, he is still mainly eating baby food. I'm so tired of buying baby food! I try new things all the time, but he is stubborn. It is the texture that he doesn't like. Oh well, at least he is eating that and growing. I bet he is up to 21 or 22lbs. now!

Computer issues

We have been having computer issues for a couple of weeks now. This weekend it wouldn't even turn on so Anthony took the tower to work so someone there can look at it. I hope he can at least save all of our precious pictures! I feel lost without my daily internet access. Anthony brings his laptop home some nights so I can check in with everyone. No pictures for the blog while this is going on, but I wish I could post some! Bryce is getting so big! He is losing the baby look :( and is getting so handsome! He and his Daddy are running around the house right now giggling with Reagan (our black lab) following close behind.

I have a new prayer request for everyone. Keep Ethan Shobert and his family in your prayers. His mother contacted me about 2 weeks ago because her 5 month old has subglottic hemangiomas and she was interested in the laser treatments Bryce had gone through. Less than a week later, Ethan had to get a trach. Something they obviously wanted to avoid. He has been in the hospital since he got the trach, and his parents are having to learn how to take care of it and change it and everything that goes along with that. He isn't eating much so they put in a feeding tube, but Ethan didn't like that too much and pulled it out! They have a 2 year old daughter at home that they miss spending time with. Please keep this family in your prayers. You can view his blog at www.caringbridge.com patient name ethanshobert (no spaces)

Quinn and Izzy both went to the NOVA conference last weekend and were seen by the top doctors in the vascular birthmark world. It sounds like Izzy and family have a good plan to follow and have already gotten some surgeries scheduled for May. Quinn didn't get as many answers. The doctors just don't know what to do for him. They are going to try the chemo twice a week now. The good news for them is he got that silly PICC line out. He will be getting a port put in on Friday. Until then, he and his mother are in a hotel in Toronto. Pray for Izzy's future surgeries and for Quinn to stay healthy until Friday.

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter like we did. My mom was here this weekend and that is always fun. She and Bryce giggled so much I think he kept the hiccups the whole weekend! She went back yesterday afternoon and we went to my Great Aunt Wibbie's for a family cookout. We always grill hotdogs and hamburgers and hunt eggs. Here are some pictures of our little man in his Easter outfit (not the original one, we had to find something warmer!), his new chair, and of him hunting eggs. If it looks like he might be walking in some of these pictures, it is because he is!!!! No more crawling for Bryce! He walks everywhere now. Such a big boy!

Evan

Bryce's best friend Evan has a nasty stomach bug. He had to get IV fluids Monday night at the ER and tonight they actually admitted him to the hospital to get more fluids. His mother Heather now has the same bug and is low sick too. Please keep them in your prayers. Pray for a speedy recovery for Mom and Evan. And for Dad to make it through all of this too. Here is a picture of Bryce and Evan from this weekend.

Kyan's funeral is tomorrow in Murfreesboro, TN. I just cannot imagine what Mike and Susan are going though right now.

Need prayers

I just found out that a little boy in our playgroup passed away Saturday. His mother found him in his bed not breathing and rushed him to the ER but they couldn't do anything for him. They think it might have been SIDS. He was 18 mos. old. I thought that went away after 12 mos. They will know more after the autopsy. His name is Kyan and he is the sweetest, cutest thing you have ever seen. Please keep him and his mother Susan and father Mike in your prayers.
