Message in a bottle

Feels like a message in a bottle, or a building site, or a poor excuse for all the letters I never wrote. Then again I definitely did not need to share it all. By the way I wrote my first letter to the New York Times today. It is all about debt and not being confident that any financial advisors really care to help. But there is more to it than that. This world feels so fragile in so many ways it is hard to know where to begin.

The Why

Cheap portfolio for one thing but it isn't just that. This blogging thing is new to me and still somewhat alien and I am only slowly seeing its potential for me, for everyone. There are drawing blogs and this might be one. I don't know. I tend toward thinking visually. But a lot of the drawing blogs seem academic and remind me of books on how to draw. Not keen on those. Respond more to vision. I sort of want everyone to blog, to mix it up, to share...not necessarily the personal but the hopes and dreams, the thoughts, ambitions. Quite reticent about writing like this in public. Do see potential for community, and exchange of ideas. We'll leave it at that for now.
