Uhhhhh

Yeah, I know.
I haven't posted in.....
Months.

I was just so terribly busy
and completely stressed out
with work
and money
and baby stuff
that I did not feel like blogging
or taking many pictures.

Soooo......
Let's see if I can motivate myself to get back into this thing!

The Summer was pretty uneventful for us. I honestly cannot remember doing much of anything ;} Jase started Preschool this October! He L.O.V.E. loves it! He goes to the Preschool at Alta High School. They have the students in the class as the teachers so he gets one on one attention which I think is perfect for him! His teacher is Miss Tayler! I don't know much about her but she seems very outgoing and sporty, patient and fun and she is just perfect for Jase! He adores her and gives her hugs when we get to school and before we leave.
My little man is getting so incredibly smart! The other day, he told Mickey Mouse {while watching the show} that a milk jug goes in the plastic bin! For a 4 year old that I have never talked about recycling with {oh hush}, I was pretty impressed! He has learned what happens when you mix colors together and is at the expert level of video games {yep, he's a computer nerd just like his daddy!}.
Right now, his favorites include:
Color ~ Green
Food ~ "maybe some chicken" and rice
Snack ~ Cheetos and chips {healthy, right?!}
Toy ~ Transformers and Hotwheels
Drink ~ Little Juices {apple juice in mini cans} & Strawberry and Chocolate Milk
Thing to do with mommy ~ play games
Thing to do with daddy ~ hide and shoot {I'm assuming this means playing computer games}
Show ~ "all the shows, woohoo!" {He loves disney channel, Phineus & Ferb, etc}.
Next up, I am working on a magnetic calendar to start teaching him the days of the week and what it means exactly when I say, in 3 days we'll do this, and so on!
I am just absolutely proud of him! He makes me the happiest mama!

In September, Matthew hit his year mark with Clearlink! He really loves the company and the people. The job itself, not so much. Who likes to make sales over the phone anyways! He is currently on a team that is in charge of coming up with different incentives for the employees and he is really loving that! He plans to work there for as long as they will let him! I happen to think that will be a very long time and can definitely see him moving up in this company.
Husband is still a geeky computer guy that plays games online with his friends EVERY day. Literally.
Dedication to being there for his friends that can't win without him?
Yep. ;}

Annoying that I have to wait several days for him to watch our Sunday shows b/c he's "in the middle and can't stop now!"?
Yep.
Worth every penny for the new computer he got this year so that he could keep up this habit as much as I would love it to fizzle away?
Absolutely.

Anyone know where I can sign him up to be a video game tester and make lots of extra cash? :}
The best thing about husband lately? Even though he drives me crazy, most of the time, he has been very supportive of the decisions I have recently made and has not {yet} mentioned any regrets. Love him.

Stay tuned for an update on me!

Where did June go?

I'm so not prepared for this month to be over.
It seems like I have totally just skipped June altogether.
What did I do this month?
Not too many important things, obviously!

Jase and I have been doing a Tuesday movie day with family.
{well, Kim's extended family but they are close enough to being my family so whatever!}
There are 29 people total, or something like that, when everyone goes.
It's just at the dollar theater-Sandy Movies 9.
We all got tickets for 10 weeks of movies for $5 each.
They are, for the most part, shows that we have already seen before but it's super fun to go out and spend time with family and watch shows on the "Big ginormous TV!".
The other day I told Jase that we needed to pack some snacks for the movie and his response was "but the TV's not hungry mom!". hehe
This is what Jase and Daddy do while I'm at work at night.
Cute boys!
I just love this little man :}
He is such a goofball!
And getting braver! Yuck!
Matthew finds garden snakes all the time when he comes home from work and lets the kids play with them.
{yes, that is Jasers Sonic holding a snake}
.....And that's about it for the pictures I took in June!
Oopsie! Guess I better work on being better at capturing cute moments ;)

Happy Anniversary to us.....On June 4th!

Yep, I'm late with posting this. I didn't post anything this month so hopefully 3 posts in a row will make up for it {yes, there will be another one tomorrow!}.

Matthew and I celebrated 6 fabulous years of marriage on June 4th!
Thank goodness it was a Saturday!
A day I actually have off from work!

We decided to go mini golfing!
It was Jase's first time going and we had so much fun!
He did so good! I was very impressed!
It took him a while to catch on but once he started taking his time and listening to our instructions, he was a pro!
One of the holes only took him 4 trys and I think that's pretty good for a 4 year old!
Maybe he'll go pro!
Much less dangerous than football ;}

After that, Jase went for a sleepover at 'the girls' house {my cousins} and Emily even took him to the movies!
Matthew and I went to dinner and a movie, just the two of us.
He picked dinner {Iggy's} and I picked the movie {Bridesmaides}.
That was the funniest movie I have ever seen.
Kid you not!
It's "laugh so hard it hurts and you can't breathe" funny!

{and don't worry-I have made the executive decision that those sunglasses really don't look good on me. They won't be worn again!}

It was an overall very fun and chill day and we enjoyed every minute of it!
Love you husband!

Jasers Sonic Mohawk

Yep.
I gave in.
I agreed to let Jase have an actual Mohawk!
I was nervous because he has a very noticeable cowlick right in the front
{as you can see in this picture}
that swirls his hair!
Well, I figured 'what kind of Sonic birthday can you have without having a Sonic haircut'?!
So, Aunty CeCe came over while I was at work to give Jase his first REAL mohawk.

This is his "Sheesh, I don't like haircuts" look.
And once it was done...
Uh, I'm still not sure about it.
So stop taking my picture because I'm getting annoyed.
With big kisses from Ceason and "wow you look awesome comments" from everyone.....
Wait a second, I AM AWESOME!
Ha Ha! Did you see my hair dad?
I'm Jasers Sonice Blue Mohawk now!
What a stud!
{and what a cute little dimple he has!}
I have to admit.
When Matthew text me a picture of him while I was at work, I started crying!
My baby wasn't a baby anymore!
He was an {almost} 4 year old with big KID hair!

Ceason did an awesome job!
It turned out perfectly and you can't even tell he has a cowlick unless you don't do his hair ;}
I am happy to say that we have kept up on this haircut and have trimmed the sides to keep it looking fresh....

and oh so cool!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

Jase is 4 today!!!!!
I can't believe how fast time flies!
We had such a fun party for him on Saturday!
It was a Sonic the Hedgehog party, of course :}
We had tons of friends and family over
We had brats and hot dogs
We ate turquoise lemon cake and carrot cupcakes
We watched Jase open all his gifts
{Perfect choices, everyone}
We played!

It was awesome!

Oopsie!

Say "Oops, I forgot", mom! Is one of Jase's favorite sayings. For example, if he asks me for chocolate milk or breakfast and I tell him, just a second, he'll come back to me several minutes later and say "mom! say, oops, I forgot your chocat melk!". So I'll say that, and have to get up right away to do it! So..............
Oops! I forgot to blog!!! Sorry guys! I did pretty good for a while there if I do say so myself!
Here's what happened for us in March and now the beginning of April!

Jase likes to dance around saying "take a picture of me, mom"! He spins so much it makes me dizzy!
He is also working on some new moves. This one was a somersault. Boys got skillz!
Jase figured out a new way to block himself from the sun in addition to wearing daddy's sunglasses!
Jase climbed up the back of the couch and said "wets take a picture mom! Just you and me!"
That has become one of his 'things'. Just you and me. I love it! "Let's snuggle on the couch, just you and me". "Let's eat breakfast, just you and me". Okay buddy....sounds great!
We moved!!! We are out of our old house! We are now living with Jess & Jason-we have the basement all to ourselves. It is very nice and cozy! I love how much less time it takes to clean! I love that there aren't 2 levels of stairs between my craft room and the rest of the house so I don't feel so left out and lonely while I am sewing {though I've yet to do that!}. I love taking turns with Jess making dinner. I love that the kids get to play with each other every day, yet, when they aren't being friendly, we can stay in our separate areas. So...so far...so good!
This is our storage unit. 2/3rds of my life is currently in a 10x10 storage unit. I promise you, it was VERY organized before Matthew threw the mattress in there and I threw the extra boxes on top of that! LOL
The weekend we moved, Jase was not feeling well. He had a fever on/off for about 4 days. Poor kid. I felt so bad for him. He did so well the first night here! For several weeks, I got him really excited about moving here. Boxing up all his stuff and taking it with us! It was a very smooth transition. I am very impressed with my little bug :) I was laying on my side in this photo, with my body turned toward my computer on the right. Jase layed over me just to snuggle and then within 2 minutes, was fast asleep!
Jase and Jaxon have been doing pretty well together. They love being able to play with each other every day. They have lots of fun but can get pretty roudy and rough with each other. I have made a new rule that at the first hit, they cannot play together anymore. So Jax and Joss have to stay upstairs and we have to stay downstairs and can't play for a couple more hours. Jase and I have breakfast downstairs together (while Matthew is at work), lunch has been different everyday but Jase and I usually eat downstairs together for that too. Dinner has by far been the hardest though. The kids want to run around and play rather than sit still and eat so we are working on that one!
Jase loves it when aunt Kesska {that's what he calls her} does his hair. She usually gives him Sonic blue hedgehog hair {per his request-which is his normal spikey hair} but on this day, she slicked it down on the sides! It was so funny and so dang cute! He loved it! lol
Jase and I like snuggling on the couch to watch shows together, and we never miss a photo opportunity for ourselves ;) Yes, Jase is only wearing his underwear....it is his favorite thing to wear....all day long!
We went and visited Uncle Meetchole and Uncle Zak at their apartment. Jase found Zak's 'ginormous' Optimus Prime and Uncle Zak was nice enough to let him play with it. He was in heaven!
This little bug loves his tubbies! He takes different toys in with him every time and this time he chose transformers. Most of the time, when his tubby is done, he will put all his toys up on the sides of the tubby to 'clean them up'! I usually don't even need to ask him to do that! Good boy!
The other day, Jess and I took the kids to our friend Ambers house to have a play date with her kids Mason {not in the picture} and Jasmine. They had so much fun together! Jase instantly loved his new friends, especially Mason because he had the largest selection of Bakugans he had ever seen! He was so upset when we had to leave that he got ornery about it. We saw them the next day at the gym and Jase was so excited to see Mason! Jaxon said something to Jase about Mason and Jasmine being there and he responded with "it's my friends...but I wuv dem!" haha
We went to Red Mango after the gym and the kids all got up in the middle of the floor and starting dancing! It was so stinking cute! Jess took video of them dancing so they all had to watch it afterwards. Cute little mongs!
This was on the way home from Red Mango. Jase LOVED his fresh strawberry banana smoothie and his Grinch movie. Silly kid! {Yes, we watch christmas movies all year round!}.
So there you have it! That's the Browning life! Next up.....I start my new job on April 25th! I am so excited!
