12 hours of DL fun!

This Sat back in late January we got up nice and early so we could make it to the parks for breakfast. One thing lead to another and we ended up spending 12 hours there that day! We normally don't do that unless we are with out of town family. : ) 
We ended up meeting up with an old Mission comp of Brody's and he's wife, and then with my parents for dinner and some rides, for my Dad's birthday!  It was SUCH a fun day!! 
(The locker photo is because we didn't bring our phone charger, since we weren't planning on staying long. So we ended up using one of the charging lockers. ha. )

Bayou Bash!

We went up to DL to see what they had going on for their Bayou Bash (a take on Mardi Gras celebration). We weren't in the park long, and I have since lost some of the photos I took on my phone....these are from our big camera, that Brody was using! : ) 

They had a cute show with the characters from Princess and the Frog, live bands and special food items. 
Light up lemonade mix, and Bananas Foster beignets. SO yummy!! 

Streamers from the Bayou show. And bottom right is the official Disneyland rose color, made just for the parks (so we're told).

Queen Mary: Princess Diana Exhibit

Back in January my Mom and I went up to Long Beach to see the Princess Diana Exhibit. It was gorgeous and so much fun! : ) 

Well, we weren't aloud to take photos in here, but we (along with a couple other ladies) could't help getting a couple! 
haha...

I almost never feel starstruck, but I did walking into the area with the Duchess' dresses! I had no idea they would be there, and it was so fun to see such familiar items! : )  

The top tiara is Princess Diana's Wedding tiara, and the bottom is Duchess Kate's.

Happiest Birthday!

Last year Disneyland did a campaign using OneRepublic's 'Good Life', which we ended up seeing them preform live at the parks at last years filming of the Christmas parade. When we went to celebrate my birthday this year we had a lot of fun using our GoPro on the rides and I thought it would be fun to do our own video to the song! I LOVE how it came out!! 



It was SUCH a fun birthday and I really love that we have this video to remember it by!
I am really loving our GoPro! : )

(I gotta look into making these videos a little larger to view. Stand by) : )

Happy 2013!!

In keeping with our tradition of spending New Years Eve at Disneyland since are dating days, here is a little video of some of our NYE at the parks! : )

It was such a lovely low key night. DCA didn't end up being all that crowded for New Years. : )
