Card Patterns Sketch 95

I was lucky enough to be chosen to be a Guest Designer for the Card Patterns Sketch Challenge
This is the sketch
and this is my interpretation of  the sketch

I used A sugar stick digi image by Lori Boyd called Girl with a kite. She can be found here  and I coloured her with copics.

First of all I flipped the image over in photoshop and erased the string (thank you Andrea for explaining how to do this). I then paper pieced the little girls blouse, kite  and bows with Cosmo Cricket  patterned paper. I mounted the kite onto sticky pads and added button twine for the kite string and tied bakers twine  around the string for its little frills.  Both can be bought from The Ribbon Girl.

The patterend paper is a mixture of Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon.  The twill I have had for absolutely ages so I have no idea what make it is.
And last but not least I machine stitched round the edges of the cardstock and patterned paper.

Card Patterns sketch 93

I thought I would make a card especially for a challenge that I had seen on my little blog perusal. You can find the challenge here and the picture below is the sketch for this week
Here is my take on the sketch.

I used an elzybells stamp which I stamped on Neenah cardstock. I have had a small pack in my cupboard for so long I thought I would give it a try. Judgement is still out on that one. I coulred the image with copics and added  glitter and ivory flower soft. The edging is a Martha Stewart punch. All patterned paper is by Magnolia.

Tanner Lollipop

A non christmassy card although I think this digi image by Lori Boyd is a true all rounder, can be used for general cards but also for a Christmas card. You can find him here

Getty messy...

A couple of weeks ago I went away for a crafty weekend with a few like minded people. I loved that I tried my hand at different things that I wouldnt normaly make. This was a little project we made, I loved how everyones was very different. I decided to pop a lollipop image from Lori Boyd in my shrine. I hand made the bunting (thank yoy Andrea for providing me with the template) and hung it onto twine from the Ribbon Girl.

Glittery girly penguins

A lovely digi image called Dana and Penny available from Lori Boyd which can be found here.
Again I coloured the image with copics and added lots of sparkle to her ear muffs, scarf and two little penquins. The dewdrops, ribbon, button and bakers twine can be found in the Ribbon Girl's shop. if you havent visited the shop I recommend you do as they sell a wide range of ribbons and sundries including silk ribbons.
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Twit twoo

I made this card whilst away on a crafty weekend............ The digi image is by Pink cat studio, I coloured it with copics, sprinklings of glitter is added as well as glitter and glossy accentes on its eyes. The gorgeous ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

Oh Baby

I have had a wonderful and a little bit of a productive weekend away with new and old friends. This is one of the cards I made using a digi image called Baby Nora by Lori Boyd.
I coloured Nora with copics and used card, patterend paper and ribbon from Andrea's give away box. I tell you she has more stuff to give away than I have in my entire craft room. Even the sentiment stamp by Papertrey was Andrea's. I tell you I want to live in her craft room :)

I am going to enter this card in this weeks the Raise the Bar Challenge   Oh Baby.

Snow much fun......

A Christmas card, in one of my favourite colour combinations,I made for fun. Little innocent digi image coloured with copics, lots of stickles added. I cut the front of the card so that you are able to see the image from the front.

Baby's first Christmas

I wanted to enter the ABC Christmas challenge which is asking for cards with a white theme.

So using one of the new digis by Lori Boyd I was up for the challenge. All of the card is white except for baby Micah and  the sprig of holly,  a stamp by Magnolia, which were coloured with copics.
