Hidden Message
The ABC challenge this week is to have something hidden on a card/project. I had made the base for this card absolutely ages so pulled it out. I used three Magnolia images on the card, coloured them with distress inks and added a bit of glossy accents to the berries.
I made a little pocket on the bottom fold and slotted in a piece of card stamped with Merry Christmas.
Materials used:
PP - No idea- I found it in my stash
Stamped images - Magnolia and David Walker for the Merry Christmas stamp
Ribbon - Gisella Graham
Medium - Distress inks

Just Magnolia week 31
Click on the images to make the pics bigger if you wish.
This week on the Just Magnolia challenge is a sketch by Mina. I love sketches :)
For this card I used my Tilda with Xmas tree stamp and Holly leaves which I bought from the NEC. Coloured them with distress inks. The berries have added shine with blobbing glossy accents onto them and the bottom of the image has a dusting of diamond dust to make it look like Tilda is standing on an icy path.
For the sentiment I layered card up added some shhhh ....peel offs.... and slotted it into a plastic tab that I have had for years sitting in a box. The berries and ribbon are from a local garden centre. I have no idea who the paper is by (again I have had it for yonks).

Simon Says Stamp, Monthly Challenge - Distressing. This months challenge is to distress your card or project. I decided to make a card with the new Magnolia stamp that I bought from the NEC. I love the papers so thick and scrumptious.
I coloured the image with distress inks, roughed up the edges, added more distress inks, twine, eyelets, staples and to top it off a little charm and machine stitching.......
Papers - Magnolia
Card - Papertrey Kraft
stamp - Magnolia
Inks - Distress inks
Tools - Machine stitching

I was asked to make a Birthday card for a young man who is soon to be 60. Well here it is...... I have picture of the birthday boys face to pop on top of the face on the digi image later but didnt think he would appreciate his face plastered over the www :)
Anyway I got the star card template from the cutting cafe as well as the Happy Birthday circle. The digital image is from Victoria case Art designs. The image was coloured with copics. The paper is cosmo cricket.
