Copic colour challenge

Please be kind with me as I am a first timer and still learning. In fact not sure of the rules as wasnt sure whether the finished card had to predominantly use the three copic colours and looking at mine it doesnt look all sugary and light like the other cards I have seen. All I can say is that I have definately used the colours (along with loads others)asked which were: BV00 (flowers) G00 (used in the flower pots) RV02 (mices cheeks).

I used a PB stamp and scraps of Patterned Paper I had lying about, not sure of the make. Anyway I got the idea of the layout for the card from a craft show at the NEC, sorry not sure what stall it was other then it had beautiful cards and sold PB stamps.

Penny Black Celebrations

The Penny Black blog is celebrating its first Birthday . All DT members are giving away a prize so I thought I would play along xxx.
Materials used:
Penny Black stamp- Bunny Friend ( only stamped part of the stamp. This image is coloured with copics, some of it is layered and a fluffy cotton tail added for dimension)
My Minds Eye Laundry Line paper
SU cardstock to match the paper
Miscellaneous ribbon found in the craft room (paper ribbon was wrapped around a Christmas present)
Tag is made from SU punches embellished with alphabet letters and alphabet stamp
Miscellaneous butterfly buttons threaded with wire

Not sure whether the photo does the card justice but the light is rubbish today as its blowing a gale and torrential rain outside so no natural daylight today !

the last card of the weekend

My last card of this weekend. Again using the gorgeous Cosmo Cricket papers. Prima flowers and SU saying stamp and punches.

Found the perfect match

IMO I think I have found the perfect matching card to go with Cosmo Cricket Early Bird papers. I was flicking through my collection of Stamping Up card stock and found the perfect blue in the soft subtle pack. I used the flipside of the Farmers Market paper, added a SU stamped image coloured with copics and topped the card off with a few buttons.

Something Gorjuss

I just love the Early Bird papers by Cosmo Cricket. I used Cherry pie which are my favourite colour combos. The stamped Gorjuss image was coloured using copic pens, using BG34 BG 23 and BG 15 for the dress. The sentiment is a SU hostess level one set which Monica kindly lent to me when we attended Maddy's copic workshop recently. SU punches were also used . A little cherry charm and bit of ribbon was added to glam it up a bit. As time goes on I hopefully will get better at colout=ring with copics, well they do say practice makes perfect, looks like a lot of practice is required in my case.
