Yeah, I might have stole this idea off pinterest, but I think it's a pretty great way to keep all of the Christmas cards from year to year .
I know the girls will love looking at the stack of cards when we unpack decorations next Christmas.

Intro to Christmas Break
With Q being in school everyday and another little one on the way in a couple months I have been looking forward to this Christmas break more than ever. We have definitely made the best of it so far. Our list consists of Monkey Joe's, Ink, Grammy & Pop Pop's house twice, celebrating Christmas, a trip to New York for Q, the movies, and more. Pay's main suggestion was going to the kids museum and it did not disappoint. Here are some of their faves from Ink.
I LOVE VACATION!!
Princess P
That's the name of our Elf on the Shelf. She was quite the sneaky elf this year (thinks to Pinterest). The girls loved waking up each morning to find out what she had done next. I will say her presence has ended Q's fingernail biting habit and began the process breaking Pay from sucking her thumb. Here are some of her crazy antics.
Yes, that is where our stockings were hung earlier in the day.
Check her out just below the star.
Although she ate some, she was kind enough to bring donuts for the family.
This was one of the girls favorites. Q loved the fact she gave us all beards and mustaches.
Her note says, "look in the mirror". Q got the biggest kick out of this. The girls did not want to wash their Rudolph noses off.
Hopefully she will come up with some more unique ideas next year because this year is pretty hard to top.

Visiting Santa
As per tradition, we loaded up and went to Bass Pro to visit Santa again this year. The girls have been looking forward to it for weeks and I have to say they did wonderfully. We had so much fun seeing him, eating in the food court, and topping the evening off with a carousel ride.
All dressed up and ready to see the Big Man.
Daddy helping write their list.Pay was a bit unsure, but I promised her she would get a candy cane and all was well.
Q was telling him she wants bunk beds for her doll Pita. She also gave him the bell she got at school that day from the Polar Express. The kids were told it came off his sleigh and she wanted him to have it back :). She really is a super thoughtful kid.
Pay was telling him about the Ariel dress she wants.
The shooting game is always a hit with the girls.
Pay loved driving the gators and four-wheelers. I guess B will have someone to hunt with after all. The trick will be in getting her to be quit in the woods...
And the grand finale, the carousel.
P choose this spinney thing over the horses. All I could hear was, "Faster Daddy, faster!". Thank goodness B doesn't get motion sick like me.
Have I mentioned how much I love this season with my kids? Well, in case you forgot, I do so much!

New sleeping arrangments
We bought the girls a bunk bed about a month ago and they have been doing really well sleeping in the same room together. The other night B went to check on them and this is what he found.
P said she was scared and she needed her sissy to sleep with her. Q loves her so much, it was no question for her to get in the bed with her. We are on night 3 of them doing this. As long as they are sleeping, that's all I care about.
New Do's
With the approval of B (who is usually the hair cutter of the family) I took the girls to get their hair cut this week. It was P's first time having her hair cut by someone other than us and she did pretty awesome. Q of course rocked it out. Here are the before pics.
Pay during the action.
After
Disclaimer: Q has been asking to grow her hair out for a while now, so though it doesn't look like much she did get a nice trim and it evened up so it doesn't look scraggly when it grows.
The back of P's.
I know, she is super cute :)!

Family Pictures
I love our family pictures this year because you can really see the girls personalities. There are too many good ones not to share them all.
My goodness my girls are growing up and I have to admit they are becoming more and more beautiful by the day.
