Field trip to Wheeler Farm

At the end of October, I was able to Co-Op a field trip to Wheeler Farm. We had our first snow storm of the season and Teacher Terry was determined to go! All the kids came bundled, so we were good to go!

I was in charge of bring juice that day. Well, Teacher Terry is all about saving the planet. I was going to bring juice boxes, and she said it would litter too much. So I brought a big apple juice carton instead. Silly old me forgot to bring small cups for the kids to drink in. Oops! Good thing it was super cold because the kids didn't even ask for a drink. Phew!

Sittin' on Up

Liam used to despise the Bumbo chair. I think it's starting to grow on him! He pays more attention to the toys in front of him and is getting better and better at stabilizing his head for longer periods of time. He has even started reaching out for his toys!

It's amazing how fast he is developing!

Cousin AJ's Birthday Bash

Avery's cousin AJ, held is 3rd birthday party at a firestation in West Jordan. Nick and Ryan are cousins but are as close as brothers. We call him Uncle Ryan and his wife Aunt Amy. We consider their kids our nephews rather than second cousins. (Confusing?)

This was such a fun idea! Ryan and Amy bid on the party at a fundraiser held at Hogle Zoo. We definitely may need to do this for Liam one day down the road!

The kids were able to ride in the fire truck around the block WITH the sirens going! They were also able to help hold the hose and douse a pretend fire. Everyone was in heaven!

They couldn't light the cake due to it being windy. You can bet that there were inappropriate comments made by the men!
