And finally, our Christmas Surprise!

Our Christmas present from above!

We have an announcement, that most of you already know anyways! We are expecting Baby #2 August 21, 2012!

It came as a surprise to the both of us! We had been trying since March of 2011, but kind of gave up around October. I was tired of the stress that came with watching the ovulations tests and stressing about each negative pregnancy test. So, we stopped worrying as much. And what do you know, it worked when we weren't really even concentrating on it!

We are really excited, nervous, elated, scared and happy to know this will finally complete our family! I will try to keep the blog updated as much as I can!

Christmas: Part 5

For our last and final stop, we spent Christmas night at my dads house. We had a potluck dinner and DeeDee put together a fun Christmas program. Avery tried to steal the show with her karaoke machine she got from her Papa Dale. :) It was a lot of fun but we sure missed all of our step siblings who were out of the state. Avery especially missed her cousins!!!

Christmas: Part 4

After Nick's dads house, we ventured up to Bountiful to Nick's moms house. We had an awesome lunch and an awesome time with just Nick's mom, brother and sister. Nick's grandparents joined us near the end and it was good to catch up with them as well!

Christmas: Part 3

After we wrapped up our own family Christmas, we headed over to Nick's dads house. He always has a breakfast Christmas morning. All of the siblings and grandkids are there. It's so imortant for us to be there because we love having Avery spend time with her cousins!

Dale and Sheri always give the kids an awesome Christmas present. Last year we all received a Nespresso machine. We use it EVERY day! The year before we all got a Blendtec blender. This year didn't disappoint either. We all received a years worth of food for our food storage. It is something I've wanted to invest in, especially if we have a natural disaster, but we never got around to it and it can cost a fortune. We are very grateful for this gift and all others of course!

Christmas: Part 2, Our House!

Since we get to visit so many families on Christmas, we have to wake up extra early! We woke Avery up around 6:30 to get the festivities started. Three days before Christmas, we got our fireplaces fixed and working! It was so nice to sit and open presents in front of a roaring fire! We tried to downsize Christmas a little and concentrate on what was more important. Last year we made a huge Christmas breakfast, but stuck to sticky buns and coffee this year.

Santa spoiled Ave this year and did all things Princess! Nick and I decided to do one BIG present. We bought her a bounce house! At first she wasn't too excited but quickly warmed up. We have it set up in our basement for the winter, but it will be able to go outside during the warmer months too!

Nick bought me workout attire and an IPad. I LOVE this because it entertains both Avery and I!

Avery and I bought Nick workout gear, clothes and shoes.

It was a great Christmas for our family! Oli even got spoiled with bones, bones and more bones. (Although he delivers them to other neighbors yards and they never get returned! :))
