Life lately.....

Just over 3 months ago, I lost my job at the best place I have ever worked. I had only been back a short while when the devastating news came that Now Disc would be closing their doors. I honestly NEVER imagined that there would NEVER be a Now Disc. It still breaks my heart (and makes me angry) to think about it. But I am grateful to still have those people in my life. They have always been a huge support to me (except when I wanted to get married to a certain someone, but that's a whole other story ;) and I am so blessed to have met them, worked with them, became good friends with them, and have them in my life.

What's been going on since? Well, unemployment has been kinda nice. Getting paid to search for a new job is nothing to complain about, but it's now starting to get a little old. I'm anxious to get out there and start being productive again.

My birthday in August turned me less then one year away from the big 30. Honestly, I'm hoping that my 30's turn out better then my 20's did. So maybe that birthday won't be so bad after all.

Another season of co-ed volleyball has began and Texas Roadhouse (our team and sponsor) are off to a great start! 3-0! I love playing with that team. We have too much fun!

One word: Football!! Finally! (Go Giants and BSU!)

This week has been full of pink eye for me. Started in my left eye and then I managed to give it to my right eye. Awesome.

Ready for October and Halloween but hoping the warm weather holds on as long as it can!

Proud aunt!

How cute are these two? Logan and Landen's grandpa had a good idea for the Bank of Commerce ad that's in this season's Chukars baseball program. (Both their Grandpa and Dad work there). So Kandis took some super cute pictures and this was the one they decided on. Page 33 if you get a program at one of the baseball games this season!! Little super stars!

Panic!

This past weekend, Alli and I took a quick trip to Boise

for a Panic At The Disco concert.

I can't even begin to tell you how much

I love Panic.

Alli and I standing in the line that we didn't

even need to stand in. We bought VIP tickets and little did we know that there was

a totally separate entrance

(which meant we didn't have to put up with the super

annoying teeny boppers that surrounded us)

and we didn't even find this out until they opened the doors,

scanned our tickets, and the bouncer said,

"Oh, you two need to go down to that other door. See the

sign that says VIP ENTRANCE?"

Sheesh. Seriously?

So we head over there.

No line whatsoever.

The lady gives us our new VIP wristbands

and informs us that we could have been SITTING in the

nice AIR CONDITIONED building,

with our own waitress,

private bathrooms....

nice.

Well, we know for next time right?

VIP

Tee shirt time

One of the opening bands was Fun.

I have never heard them before and

actually really liked them.
Go check them out and listen to Walking The Dog

Panic was amazing.

They are such awesome performers

and never disappoint.

It doesn't hurt that the lead singer is easy on the eyes too ;)

Ponce Wedding

Over the weekend I had the privilege of attending the wedding of
my best friend Melissa's younger sister Sarah,
to her knight in shining armor, Alex.
It was such a beautiful wedding.
Beautiful bride.
Beautiful day.
(minus a little wind)
Beautiful.
I just wanted to share a handful of pics from their special day.
(Of course, out of order because I hate Blogger. Or it hates me.)

The Bride in her GORGEOUS dress letting the DJ know what
kind of music they wanted to hear.
Which, by the way, after the ceremony was over,
these HUGE Atlanta Braves fans had the Tomahawk Chop
playing as they walked back down the isle.
Awesome.

Just married...

Cake time!

I love this picture. I think she just got done tossing the bouquet.

the Best Man and Maid of Honor

Who gives this bride away...

Love these two. Sarah's parent's, Loralee and John
(My second mom and dad)

One of my favorites. I can remember what Mom and I were laughing
about, but this photo just rocks.

Three besties again. Can't get enough!

Joe and Alyssa

This family is so close and I love that. Love that I get to be apart of it too.
Such an awesome wedding day.

Sadly, Melissa and her adorable little family had to head back to
Georgia and I miss them so much already.

Bridal Shower

My best friend's little sister, Sarah, is getting married this Saturday and tonight was her bridal shower.
(Excuse my out of order pics)

At one point in the evening, we we split into groups and had our "bride" that we had to make a wedding dress for out of tissue and wrapping paper. When we were finished, the brides had to do a little walk on the runway and then Sarah picked a winner. The bride from our group, Abby, was picked as the winner! She is the cute little lady second one on the right.

Me and the beautiful bride to be.

It's hard to see in this picture, but Sarah is well on her way to a mouth full of bubble gum. She played the game of how well she knows her soon to be husband.

We also had yummy food and she got a lot of great gifts. Those ladies really know how to throw a party!

These next few pics are of me and my two BFFs, Alyssa and Melissa. Every time we get together (which isn't often because everyone keeps moving away at different times) we take a picture. I love looking back at the previous pictures and seeing how much we have changed. And how many pictures Alyssa is preggo in ;)
The last pic is from the bridal shower tonight. I say this every time I blog about these two, but I am truly so blessed to have these ladies in my life. They are beyond amazing.

Now onto the wedding!!

First BBQ of the summer

We finally got a beautiful summer day
and Magen took advantage of it by having
a BBQ out at her house.
Everyone was enjoying the warmth,
especially the kids....

Maddy was loving driving the Jeep.

This skinny little monkey was enjoying the water.
But then he would get out and the wind was blowing
just enough that it made his tiny, wet body just shiver.
But it didn't take him long to jump right back in.

Cool Parker dude.

This was awesome. Logan jumped on the back and Maddy just
took off, almost losing Logan off the back.

This sweet Cooper has started smiling and all the aunts were trying
to get a picture. How sweet is this hat? His cousin, Brody, let
him borrow it for a few pics.

Sleeping Brody.

Landen was loving the motorcycle that only went about
half the speed of the Jeep. But he didn't really have a chance
at the Jeep. Maddy was having too much fun.
I love this video below. It makes me laugh that this
little 2 year old is in control and taking over.
Poor Logan kept trying to convince her to let him drive,
but I'm pretty sure she was ignoring him.

So happy that summer is finally here! I shouldn't get my hopes up too much though....we do live in Idaho and anything can happen with the weather here.
