New Addition

Connor Woodruff Mayer was born September 8th at 3:49 am. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 18 3/4 in long. So glad he is here and healthy!  Brigham's mom, Amy, was in town to help me can our peaches since I knew being this far along I would not be able to do it on my own, and thank goodness she was since Connor decided to come 17 days early. After having contractions for the last two days, I was grateful when they finally got to be 5 minutes apart.  I woke Brigham up and told him it was time to go. Got checked in at the hospital and was getting my epidural when my water broke all over the nurse and the floor. Two contractions later, and no epidural once again, with me telling the nurses he was coming now, Connor made his first appearance into this world, an hour after we had checked in with no doctor again (just like his sister Sierra!). Family Disney Dream Vacation

First Steps

Brigham had been out of town on some business and my parents were in town helping me with the kids so I could work, I was home for the evening and the kids and I were playing "Just Dance" on the Wii. Sierra has been standing for some time now but would not take her first steps. In the middle of the game my mom yells out, "she's walking" and sure enough my baby Sierra was taking her first steps. We had her re-enact it for the video camera so that we could show dad on Skype and have it here to show everyone else. I love these momentous moments, especially when we can capture them on the camera!!

New Job

I don't have any pictures to add to this post, but wanted everyone to know that I started a new job. Brigham had a construction consulting job that he had on the side of Nu Skin to help pay the bills and that ended with the project coming to an end last month. So, we decided that he could stay home with the kids and do Nu Skin and that I could go out and help support the family at this time. I found a job at RE/MAX-a real estate agency as an assistant just 5 minutes from home. I am loving the job and have learned so much, but it sure is hard being away from my kiddos. Life brings many challenges and many possibilities, I guess you just have to learn to be open to them and learn from them.

Sierra Savannah's # 1

Even though I don't think one year olds know everything that is going on or why, I think first year b-day are the most fun. You get to see how they react to their first piece of cake, ripping packages for a good reason and this weird thing burning that I can't touch. Sierra had a fun 1st b-day with lots of family. Thank you so much coming and for your thoughtful gifts!!

Some Trafalga Fun!

We ended up buying some season passes to Trafalga and Seven Peaks this year after finding a great deal on Groupon. It has been a blast and the kids love it. We have gotten more than our monies worth!!

Bailey's Year End Dance Recital

This is the first dance to rock and roll-she has made so many improvements from last years 1st recital.


The second dance is new this term and she thought it was the funnest dance! We are so proud of her, she did such a good job!



We are all done with dance for the year and will concentrate more on preschool for next year-so no dance for a while except what happens with dad and the radio on weekday mornings boogie time!!

Tanner's # 7

So, ever since Caitlin got to celebrate her birthday early, Tanner has been asking to do the same so I caved. He has been so excited this week as he got a present everyday and then cake to top it off. Celebrating his birthday early has been a present in and of itself. He got to go to Trafalga too and go on three XD rides and is excited to finish it off with some mini golf and rock climbing coming soon. It has been nice to kind of spread out his birthday and enjoy it longer than just one day =) !
