We have been busy. Here is my pumpkin carving for our Great Pumpkin Carving Contest. I did the one with the vomit and then I won a special award. For other pumpkins that are definatly not as good as mine, go to my brother Matt's blog and take a look. I am awesome!

Updates! Updates! Updates!

So Here is an update of the Briggs Family. We have been really busy over here and truly blessed. Life is crazy for me with the kids, work and the house and all that comes with that. Harman is loving kindergarten! I love asking him about his day! It is so much fun to see him growing up but also so sad! Annabelle is in preschool and really likes it. Yesterday she was a little bit sad and didn't want to go but for the most part she loves it and loves her friends. Sophi is the best baby ever. She is a dream child. I shouldn't say this because a lot of you will be jealous but she sleeps most nights from about 9:30 until 7:30 or 8:00 strait through! I know it's awesome! Ryan is keeping busy with work and he was just called to be ward clerk so that is a little stressful for him but he is doing great! I have my mortgage license and everyone keeps asking us if we are ok with this crazy economy and we are doing great. I don't think I've ever been busier. It's a blessing and a curse. I thought I'd be taking a step back after Sophi was born but seriously things have been nuts! It's a blessing because with everything that is happening in the world and the line of work we are in that we have been doing great but it is a curse because if you ever saw my unorganized house before you should see it now! No wait, don't see it! I didn't know hurricanes came to Utah, oh wait...they are named Harman and Ryan! As my friend said once, "If you're coming to see me, come over if you're coming to see my house then MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!" I added to that qoute make it 2 weeks in advance so I can prepare! Anyway, things are good. I've added a few pictures. Sorry it's not much but here ya go it's better than nothin'!

Ok I know I am bad but seriously I feel like I haven't had time to breath. 3 kids keep you busy especially now that school has started. Harman is enjoying kindergarten and Annabelle loves preschool. I thought the two afternoons they are both gone a week I would have a little free time but I don't. Oh well. We blessed Sophi last Sunday and it was such a great day. Ryan did such a great job. I don't have any of the pictures yet so I will load them this weekend. Here is a bunch of pictures so you can see what we have been up to.

SOPHI LOPHI!

Introducing our sweet little SOPHI JILL BRIGGS born July 22, 2008 at 6:48 pm. We nick names her "sophi lophie" because she is such a little snoozer! She was born at 7 pounds 2 ounces and 20.5 inches long. The delivery went really well and I am so greatful she wasn't too big and wasn't too small! She is already wrapped around our little finger, especially her Daddy's. Her big brother and sister absolutely love her! They are going to be such wonderful little "helpers" I am sure.

Right after she was born she had a fever of 102 degree's and they had to run some blood tests but after a long night she is just fine. She barely cries, just a little "maa" every now and then which I admit to listening to for longer than I should. She usually is hungry when she cries. She already has a love of feeding which means she will chunk out just like her brother and sister.

We are so greatful for our little sweetheart and know that we have been watched over during this time.

Good News!

So just a really quick update. I went to the doctor this week and he told me that he would induce me a week early! Yeah! So I am scheduled for July 22. As long as I keep progressing and it isn't a full moon and all of the girls in Salt Lake go into labor I am on the books. I am trying not to get my hopes up because it is very likely that I could be bumped but I am crossing my fingers. I am ready to have all my organs back where they belong! I hope everyone is doing well!

4 more weeks!

ok so here is my update again. Still no camera but hopefully I will have it soon. I am large and in charge and ready for this baby to come out. I still have 4 more weeks which seems like forever but I think it will go fast with all the 4th of July and family stuff we have going on. Maybe I'll even get lucky and the doctor will have pity on me and induce me early. I've never gone into labor by myself so I'm kind of scared about that but since I've been induced twice because I would have a gigantor baby if I went to far over my due date and I don't progress at all then I am guessing that my doctor will induce right at my due date. Blah! I wish I was lucky like my sister-in-law Lisa who went right into labor 2 weeks early, had a baby 4 hours later and came home the next day. Ok I'll stop comlaining. We have been really busy with swim lessons, my sister Mary returning from her mission, my other sister Jana being in town and moving to San Dieago today (tear!) and my sister and brother in law Lisa and Jeff moving to Alaska! (double tear!). Then Erika and the kids come next week so I probably wouldn't have posted much anyway. I hope everyone is doing well and we will keep you updated! Maybe next time I post I will not have a baby in my belly! (yeah right!)

Update!

I was able to finish painting Annabelle's room. It is the cutest room ever. I would post pictures but Ryan took our camera to work so I don't have a camera for now. The only thing is that the other night I went to check on her after she went to bed and she had drawn with pen all over the the new paint on 2 of the walls! I was so mad! That led to some hormonal moments of crying about it (poor ryan, he's really getting the brunt of this pregnancy with all my moodswings lately) but oh well, what do you do. She's 3 and I should have checked her room better. I am about to start on the babies room. Probably next week. Another thing is that by Friday I will be 34 weeks and when I went to the doctor last Friday I had gained 7 pounds in 2 weeks. Hello! The month before I had lost one pound, how is it possible to gain 7 pounds in 2 weeks. I know, I'm at the end but seriously! that was a hit to my self esteem which led to more emotional mood swings! Oh well, I'm sure when I go next week I will have gained another 5-7 pounds! It's all water right???? I'm not eating that much, my stomach is up between my rib cage right now! Enough venting for now. I hope you all have a wonderful, skinny feeling week!

Yes we are still around!

Sorry I haven't been updating the past few weeks. I have had sick kids, my sister came to town and it just hit me last week that I have less than 9 weeks before our little baby is born and I have 5 million things to do. Plus it is finally nice outside so we have been trying to get out in the sun! So, I need to paint 2 bedrooms, clean my office (I can't see the floor), go through boxes of baby clothes, take things to the DI, and whatever else I feel I need to do. I already put 2 garbage bags of toys and took one to the DI. Harman doesn't know. He would feel I betrayed him but don't you all just hate junk? I feel I am surrounded by junk! Those dumb Mcdonalds toys kill me and I swear we accumulate other peoples kids Mcdonalds toys! We don't go there that often! Anyway, I am in a serious nesting faze! I'm sure you all can relate! Sorry for the rant. I will post soon. Have a great week!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well, I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I know that my presents don't look too attractive, especially the Swiffer but I love all things Swiffer, especially right now while I can't bend down to mop my floor. This is saving me! The book is a new book by an author I really like. Stephenie Meyer. I am about 140 pages into it and it is pretty fun! The best are the flowers because they were a total suprise. Thank you my sweet family! Another wonderful thing I received was in church my kids sat quietly during all of sacrement meeting which is a new record! I couldn't have asked for more. We then went up to Heber for a delicious dinner of Chicken Cordon Bleu and the men cleaned up everything! It was a great day! I hope you all enjoyed your day!

It is Harman's silly day at school today and they are supposed to wear something funny to school. He did his own hair and this is what he decided to wear. His star wars shirt, his flood sweats and a tie. He has been giggling all morning. It's really cute. Notice the pants are floods. Unfortunatly all of his pants are like this all of the sudden due to his growth spurt! I'm excited for summer shorts but hello, it is May 1st and snowing outside! What is that all about!

Another One!

We've added another dress to the things Annabelle will only wear. This includes what she will wear to bed. Thanks alot Erika! Just Kidding. It's cute, it just gets a little dramatic sometimes!

Happy Birthday Harm!

I can't believe our big buddy is turning 5! On April 11, 2003 Harman was born. It seems like yesterday he was this big, curlyhaired, butterball of a baby! He is such a sweet boy. He is very tenderhearted and loves his sister so much. He is very protective of Annabelle and is ready to defend her honor whenever he needs to! He tries really hard to be a good listener and loves to learn to read, play golf, basketball and any other sport he can. He is really excited for his new sister to come. He says he is used ot it now and is ok that it's a girl. He wants to help me feed and rock her. His most favorite thing to do is hang out with his Dad. We love you Harm!

Annabelle's Clothes

So my sister-in-law Erika showed some pictures of what her daughter Addi wears everyday so I thought I would go through Annabelle's day. This is it! She wakes up in the morning and begs for her swim suit. It is only 45 degree's right now and we can't go outside in our suits but nevertheless she prances around for a while in this and then it changes to her Easter dress. She has to wear it. She especially has to wear it if she is watching "Enchanted". If she can't, she throws a fit. If it's in the wash then watch out for the tantrum! I tried to talk her out of it at first saying it was only for church but finally I decided I didn't care. I used to only want to wear dresses that "twirl" too when I was a little girl. I can't blame her! If we are going somewhere I can usually talk her into changing into regular clothes but if I decide it's not worth the fight, one might see us at the grocery store in a tinkerbell swim suit! Girls will be Girls I suppose!

Oh my Girl!!!

Well, we had our Ultrasound last Thursday and we will be having a Girl on July 28th! Ryan and I were both so suprised. I thought for sure it was a boy because I wasn't as sick with this one. Everything looks great and I will scan the pictures in soon. I just have to go to Ryan's work to do it.
We had a fun Easter weekend with Uncle Matt and the Briggs Clan in St. George. Ryan's brother came home from his mission and he is great! Harman has a new Hero. He seriously idolizes him. It is so cute! Annabelle took a bit of time to warm up to him but that's our Annabelle!

It's time for our monthly update!!!

Well, since I have discovered that some of you actually look at this I might as well keep it updated! Thank you everyone who has checked up on us! It's so much fun to look at your blogs and it really is such a good way to keep in touch! There isn't too much news as of yet with us. Last weekend we went down to St. George for some fun in the sun! It was so nice. There is a park by Ryan's parents house and we basically spent about 5 hours a day there playing. The kids loved it! There is this neat splash pad and Annabelle kept wanting to take her clothes off to run through. We talked her into keeping her skirt on! Harman had fun riding his scooter around and flying his new kite! That is all for now. We find out what our baby is next week so I will update then! I'm half way done! Woohoo!

First Post...Well Sort of.

So this is the first post for this blogspot. I couldn't remember what are other one was called. I tried to figure out how to retreive so I started a new one. I am really going to try to keep this updated because all of you out there are so great at keeping yours updated and I love to read everyone's news so I hope I can be organized enough to do this.
