One whole year.

A year ago today. My family, my love, my heart grew bigger by one. My faith stretched. My scars a little less visible. Pregnancy after loss is such a strange thing. You dare to hope, yet brace your self for devastation. You hold your breath, yet week after week, breathe a little deeper, a little easier.  Each movement you feel is bitter sweet. It reminds you of the babies you never felt kick, yet you rejoice with each movement you feel. And you wait and wait for the day you get to beat your previous odds. You wait for the day you get to meet your miracle. At 3:00 pm a year ago today, I got to meet 8 pound 4 ounce miracle baby. She was the piece of me I didn't know I was missing, yet ached for so much.  His promise fulfilled. Replenishing what the locust ate.  {Joel 2:25} We're often asked if our family is complete now, but I can't answer that. He has proven that His plan doesn't often line up with mine. But we do know our Charlotte Faith is the perfect addition to our lives at the perfect time.
