We started July off by celebrating Lani and Joseph's 50th wedding anniversary. What a special occasion! All of their kids were able to come for the weekend. The adults went out to dinner on Friday and we all got together for a special party at Nicole's on Saturday. Michael brought Leah with him so we got some girls cousins together for a slumber party (minus the slumber).
For the 4th of July we went on a family hike up to Snow Basin. We had a BBQ with friends and lit off some fireworks in the street. We made homemade root beer of course.
We've been swimming and playing at the splash park and for morning walks while it's still cool.
My mom and sister drove up for Mason and Hannah's wedding, it was a special day.
After the wedding, Paul and I took off to celebrate our anniversary. 14 years! Olivia and my mom stayed and watched the kids. They are angels (the baby-sitters, not the kids). We went to the temple and finally tried out Maddox. We read and relaxed. We toured Minnetonka cave and swam around Bear Lake. It was the best.
Susie has taken a few pet sitting jobs this summer. She loves it. She likes to spend her money on clothes.
We met some family up at Jordanelle.
Braden started piano lessons! I was shocked when he said he wanted to learn, shocked and excited! I hope I can make him stick with it.
We are still learning about different artists and done a few fun art projects trying to imitate their work. I love Clark's French painter impression this photo!
July has been busy and fast and FUN!
