We made the hard decision to switch the Syracuse Elementary this school year. We have loved Voyage Academy but Syracuse Elementary is just a few blocks away and the kids can walk to school in 5 minutes. With a new baby and a kindergartener we felt like it was a good time to switch. The kids love going to school with friends from the neighborhood.
I can't believe Clark is big enough for school now! Timmy misses him so much. Luckily kinder is only half day. It's a good way to ease into school. He's the cutest kindergarten ever. (Except when he's complaining about practicing reading every morning).
Braden is in 3rd grade this year and his teacher is Mrs. Slade who is in our ward. Susie is a 5th grader. We got matching bracelets for the new school year.
Paul got to teach Braden's class about Germany. They have "Travel Tuesdays" each week. Parents can come in if they have experience with a different country. We made a powerpoint to show some beautiful places around the country and some of Paul's missionary pictures, taught the kids some German, and brought in bratwurst and sauerkraut for the kids to try. We sent them home with some Haribo gummies.
Timothy and I started a new 3 year old preschool class. We are having a lot of fun. I only have class one day a week and it's during one of Henry's naps so it works out great.
