That's a wrap! (the rest of our summer photos)

Summer is officially over. Here is a bunch of summer pictures I wanted to save.

Paul took a hiking trip with his brother in the Uintahs. They hiked up to Red Castle and spent a few days in the mountains. The pictures are beautiful.

Paul taught the kids risk. It was a proud parenting moment for him haha.

We have all loved the baby snuggles. Henry is the sweetest.

We had a little backyard campout with s'mores and a movie in the tent.

Ty came to visit for a few days. The kids think he's the coolest. Ty knows all about cultures and languages and history so my kids really admire him. He took them to the pool too! I hope they're always close.

We've had some fun friend time too. This is Paxton, he was baptized the same day as Braden.

Olivia and I got together to can dilly beans and salsa. It was a lot of work, especially with 6 kids to take care of on top of it! But we got it done and had a lot of laughs. Everything is funnier when it's late and you've been canning all day!

We took a family outing to Urban Air. The kids loved it.

We learned about a few artists this summer and tried to replicate their painting style. I wanted to do more than 3 but I was pretty busy just keeping kids fed and happy and they complained whenever I got the paints out. Oh well. We learned about Monet, Seurat, and Van Gogh.

We rode the train with Chante and her boys the week before school started. It was so fun. We walked around the train museum in Ogden together, then rode the train home.

We had a fun last day of summer celebration. We went out for frozen yogurt and ate candy and watched a movie. Braden won the summer reading race this year! He read over 4,500 pages. Susie was close behind. We had a great summer.

We decided to make the switch to Syracuse Elementary this school year. It is just behind our house and we've loved it so far.
