December is probably the best month of the year (hmm maybe July is). December is pretty good though. All the wonderful things that lead up to Christmas day are so fun and exciting and fill your heart with love for your family and others!
Here is some fun we had before Christmas this year.
Putting up the Christmas tree is always exciting.
Susie and I went on the best girls date. Lunch and the Nutcracker. It was so magical. I think we want to go every year now that she is old enough to enjoy it.
Braden had a bad asthma attack. We thought maybe it was pneumonia but his X-ray was clear, hurray! We did lots of nebulizer treatments and a prescription of steroids and he got better fast. I used to be hospitalized for asthma attacks around Christmas every year as a child so it's funny that Braden struggles with the same thing. Sorry kiddo.
We tried to light the world and add hay to our manger for doing acts of service. We do our best to keep the focus on the Savior.
We got a little snow!
We baked ALL month long!
We had fun at our ward Christmas party. I was in charge of the Primary program and the kids did great. We brought our neighbors too and that was fun.
Paul and I continued our tradition of a romantic temple square date. We had the best time! We went to the Lion House this year and a concert on temple square, then shopped around City Creek for a little while.
We saw the new Star Wars with some friends. Fun date, but the movie was a little disappointing. So sad.
We went to a dress up Christmas party. You had to dress up as a Christmas couple so Paul and I were the Nutcracker and Clara. It was a lot of fun.
I also got to meet up with my mom and sister in SLC for a lunch and shopping. The Cooper Onion in SLC can't be beat!
