Happy Halloween!

Scotty is Off to Best Beginings PreSchool for some Halloween Fun!  He discovered this robot costume at Grandma's (used to be mine) and loves it! "Beep Boop! I Robot!"

Tommy is my fantastic Cheeser - He LOVES having his picture taken! This one was his request :-)

Our ward Halloween Carnival was on Friday night.  The kids had a Blast! Brian won two tubs of candy by guessing the correct amount in them (Oh boy!!!....ya maybe not).  Kids scored some slinkies and snap bracelets and had way too much sugar.  Bedtime that night was from a horror film.

Tommy couldn't REALLY walk on these but like I said he's a great cheeser!

"Beep Bop!!!"

Abby just kept going and going....

Oh Look! Tommy found a fellow Dinosaur!

"My Pumpkin!"

We went visiting teaching at Sister Baird's house and Tommy was SOOO Cute jumping in the rain puddles!

Cheeser!

Thursday I took Scott and Tommy to the Halloween carnival at Acorn (Abby's school).  This one was at least a zero sugar event!  Scott wanted to be a pirate this time.

Go Fish

Walk around the pumpkins Tommy!

Since Abby is a "BIG KID" in the 1st grade, she gets to help put on the carnival for the "little kids."  This year she and Logan managed the ghost bowling booth. I think she did a fantastic job!

There's candy literally EVERYWHERE! It's spilling out of windows and being thrust into my kids hands at every store and errand we run.  I'm not buying it!  45 pounds of Apples at Northview Orchard cost me $13.  Then I bought 240 mini playdoughs at Costco....so I think we're good!

(To be honest, I don't even want to go trick-or-treating tonight...but I don't think my kids will allow that).

Seizure

Tommy just gave us a big scare.  He had a fever at Grandma's house tonight while Brian and I were tearing out the office kitchen.  Both Abby and Scott have had fevers this week so I just figured it was his turn. On the way home Tommy gave a few quick loud breaths in. When I looked back at him he was completely stiff, not breathing, his hand was stuck up in the air and he just stared straight in front of him. I knew something was wrong and ordered Brian to drive straight to the hospital! I climbed in back took him out of his seat (stiff as a bored ) and called 911. Well, by the time my darn phone actually contacted them he relaxed, fell limp, and I could feel his heart beating. Brian drove like crazy to the ER because he wasn't sure what was going on.  They met us outside, Tommy woke up, and he was perfectly fine! Brian took the kids back to grandma's house and came back.  I was still pretty worried about Tommy. They said it was most likely a seizure caused by a rapid temperature increase (which I've heard of before). So they ran some tests just to make sure he didn't have any more serious infections than a cold. Luckily, he checked out well and they sent us home a few hours later.
My poor little Tommy. I will try to treat your fevers better!  I thank my God above he is alright!

Our New Truck

Brian and I have been talking about getting a new truck for years.  Today was the day we finally did it! Brian settled another injury case and gave me the go ahead to bid on some trucks at a public auction in Nampa.  It was a bit risky bidding on a car we haven't even driven, but so far it's turned out well. It drives great and was very clean!
My mom and I drove out to Nampa to pick up the truck. Our kids got to play with Becky's kids and we took Clara back with us to Grandma's house.

Abby's Princess Tea Party

We decided to let Abby have a friends party this year. She wanted ALL girls, no boys allowed. So we painted nails, decorated crowns, danced to princess music and had a little tea party with REAL (thrift store) china! The girls got to take home their tea cups and saucers for party favors. We had so much fun!

 Ashley (Cyndy's daughter) and Abby

 Kae
 Rachel (in Abby's kindergarten class)
I made 3 flower center pieces with leftover tule, and dollar store flowers and foam. Love how they turned out!
And of course lighting candles outside in Twindy Falls is almost impossible.  But we sang Happy Birthday anyway.
Ah, There's my sweet girl's smile!
I'm so glad we decided to finally build our pergola.  It was so nice to have some more shade in the back yard.
My mom was on Tommy duty.  Pretty sure she loved it.  She tells me all the time that being a grandma is the best thing ever and thanks me for giving her grandbabies.

And here she absolutely refused to smile for me.  I think all she wanted was the cupcake.
At least the cupcakes were the easy part! Last year I made a really fancy castle cake. This year, cakemix and princess cupcake liners with coordinating crowns. Boom! Done!

Brian's cousin, Brian Tanner (Matthew), made this swing for a mission fundraiser.  He even harvested the logs and shaved the bark.

One of the consequences of inviting so many little girls is WAY too many presents.  But Abby thought it was the coolest thing ever.  She was so spoiled.

I'm so glad Grandma Tanner made it! That morning we all went to Ivy Halling's baptism.  Diane visited with family at McDonald's afterwords and joined us at the party latter.  My kids are so blessed to have 2 wonderful loving grandmas.

Brian wasn't quite sure what to do around all the princessy activities, but he sure does love his Sweetheart Abby.
And of course you can't play outside without jumping on the tramp.
I made this cute little swing for Tommy.  Here, Eli (Brenna's son) is being pushed by Harper (Christine's daughter).  Eli and Tommy are just weeks apart in age.
