Merry Christmas

Christmas wa samazing this year, as it is every year. I really liked going to church on Christmas Sunday and listening to the Christmas music. I think it really helped me realize that Christ was truly the greatest gift we have ever received. And it helped me think about why we give gifts and how we can show our appreciation to God for our gifts. I am so thankful to have an amazing husband. He lifts me up, even when I'm on the heavy side. He makes me laugh even when there's nothing funny. He makes me cry when I think I can't. And I am so lucky to be his wife. We just had our 7 year anniversary in November and I am so excited for another 7 years. This Christmas my sweetheart surprised me with tickets to the Nutcracker! I was soooo excited as I have been wanting to see that every year for FOREVER, and I loved every minute of it. It was wonderful. Christmas morning was joyful, peaceful, humble, and crazy all at the same time. I'm so thankful for my beautiful children. Today the kids were being crazy and destructive, like always, and I jokingly said to Brian, "Why did we have kids?" And seriously, I know that I would not have known joy like I do now without their dirty smiling faces. Family is the the greatest gift.... (Well besides Jesus of course) Here are some random pictures that make me smile from our Christmas season this year.

Thankful for Family

This is my beautiful family, (Brian's whole family!). We had thanksgiving in San Diego with them and it was such a wonderful weekend. I love them so much and I'm thankful to be a part of their amazing family. This is the whole Davis clan! Well from Kerry and Rhonda anyway.  I hope you like these pictures!

Jaxon turns Three

If we actually had a party for Jaxon, you would have been invited...I think I can only do one big party a year, and this year there were a few too many for me. So poor Jaxon and Sadie missed out on "real" parties this year.... Luckily they are too young  to remember and also luck that there are many more birthdays to come for me to make up for it! So my parent's normal sunday night dinner turned into a mini party for Jaxon, with crazy glasses and pumpkin decorating. We had a lot of fun, and we love Jaxon so much! He's such a cute sweet little tough guy and life wouldn't be the same without him!
Trina blew out Jaxon's candles, of course.
The crazy glasses were a big hit!

Sadie's expression in this picture makes me laugh.
