I did it!!!
Okay, so all of you crazy, psycho, obsessed Twilight fans finally conned me into reading the stupid book.....and I LOVED IT!!! I haven't read a book, other than the scriptures, since I was in high school (and then it was only because I HAD to read)but I started this book on Thursday night right before I went to bed.....Stupid idea. I couldn't put it down! I finished it today and read the teaser for the next book, and I can't wait to get it! I seriously can't stop thinking about it...or should I say Edward!!! I feel like a little kid again, in high school or something, because I am seriously giddy at the thought of him! I now understand the obsession. And I am sorry for thinking you were all crazy! So please don't spoil the next books for me. So anyway, if you haven't reaad the book, I highly recommend it! So there you go, I admit, I am in love with Twilight!
Family pictures

So a few weeks ago my beautiful friend Heather took our pictures! She's amazing and we are so thankful for all of her hard work, to try to get us all to look half-way decent! So here are some pics. As for an update....we're just been doing the same old thing. Nothing really interesting. JAxon is smiling now and is so cute! Logan is getting better with Jaxon every day and we FINALLY got a double stroller so I can actually go out in public now! I love it! But other than that, we're just same old boring Davis family!

Funny stories about Logan
The more Logan talks, the funnier he is, and the more exciting my life gets! A few weeks ago I found Logan on the rocking chair, breastfeeding his dog Buster! (it's a stuffed animal). When I saw him with his shirt up and the dog at his chest I just started laughing. Then I realized he was trying to use a nipple shield too! It was so funny.
Another funny thing, and I'm just going to warn you that the following story has some explicit language, but it's just not the same without the real words! Okay, so about 2 weeks after I had Jaxon, Brian was super sweet and decided to take Logan fishing for the day, so I could have some alone time with the baby. When they came home Logan told me he went "Shitting!" And he used a "Shitting pole!" And he said, "Here shitty shitties." And he just had so much fun shitting with daddy at the "Shitting hole!" I know it's bad, but it was just the funniest thing, and he still says shit for fish. We're working on it, but I'll admit that I have him say it in front of other people because it's so funny!
Just last week sat church Brian took Logan outside to run around for a while and get some energy out of his system! Well, Brian told me Logan came across some pine cones on the ground and he picked one up and Brian went up to him and told him it was a pine cone. Logan looked at the pine cone again, and said, "Umm no daddy, no pie-comb (pine cone) uh, poop. Yucky!" then he threw it down and ran away! At least he didn't put his fish word in there too!!! :)

Terrible Two's

The first two weeks of having Jaxon and Logan all day by myself were really hard! Especially when Logan decided to turn into a crazy two year old! One day while I was talking on the phone Logan climbed into Jaxon’s playpen and got a whole tube of Desitin all over himself and the crib. I even checked on him a few times, but I didn't realize he was getting into Desitin until it was too late!!! A few days later, or maybe even the next day, Logan spread an entire big tub of Vaseline on the carpet!!! (By the way, any ideas of how to get it out of the carpet would be appreciated! It’s still there!) And just a few days ago I was taking a shower and Logan clogged up the sink in the hall bathroom and turned the water on. It flooded the entire bathroom!!! AAAhhhhh!!!! And just when I think this kid just might drive me crazy, he starts being the best behaved, sweetest little boy again!!!!! I swear….being a mom sometimes is the pitts!!!
Silly Silly Boys!
Jaxon is Cute!

Jaxon's First Photo Shoot!

So My good friend Heather is an amazing photographer, and she took our pictures last week! She is seriously such a good photographer and if you need your pics done, you should call her. Check out her photo blog at plainlytaken.blogspot.com. She's running a special for family pics right now! Anyway, I thought I'd share some of the pics she took.
Also here's the scoop on the actual birth! I was induced on the 6th, and it was the best experience ever! They started me on some gel to soften the cervix, which sucked, because I had to sit in the hospital bed all night, but in the morning the doctor broke my water at 8:30am. Then they started me on pitocin at 9:30. then at 10:30 I was in tears and asking for my epidural, and I had him 3 hours later! Brian was such a good daddy, and actually helped the doctor deliver Jaxon! It was such an amazing experience! Brian got to pull him out and hand him to me. Everything was perfect, and even better than I could have expected! Jaxon is such a good eater, and the whole nursing thing is going so much better this time! I love being a new mommy again, and I just love my two boys!

Still Pregnant...
So I'm still pregnant, as of today. I am due in exactly one week from today, but my doctor is going to induce me on monday or tuesday, hopefully. Unless the hospital is too busy, so let's all keep our fingers crossed that they will have an open bed for me ASAP!!!! Anyway, I'm pretty miserable, the usual complaints a week before you're due. My hips and butt hurt so bad, almost all the time. I have NO patience anymore, for anyone. I really want/need some alone time, which let's face it, that's definitely not going to happen any time soon or in the next few months. I have to pee every hour in the night. But, the baby is healthy, and I'm "healthy" so I really should just shut up! I still don't have a name picked out! Any suggestions???? We're thinking Jackson or Mason or Calex. My mother-in-law HATES Calex, which is my top pick, and My sister doesn't like Jackson. Brian likes Colt, which I'm not a big fan of. We don't even have a top 3 to choose from!!!!! AAHhhhh. Oh well.
I have been nesting like crazy this time! Last time I didn't go through this at all, but this time, I've been cleaning things like you would not believe. I have been sanitizing everything, and getting everything ready. I made a nursing cover, and finally finished Logan's car seat cover. I'll have to post some pics soon. I started making the baby's car seat cover, but my butt hurts too bad to sit in a chair to sew it together! Seriously. I hate the last month!!!!! Oh well. I will hopefully post pictures of our new baby in the next few days so lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!! :)

Things are starting to turn up!!!!
So for all of you out there who were concerned about us, because of Brian being out of a job, worry no more! He was offered a corporate position with Petsmart on Tuesday of this week, and it was exactly what he was hoping for! He will be on a team with 3 other people who will be responsible for all of the marketing and advertising decisions for Petsmart nationwide! It's an awesome opportunity and he's super excited! And to make things even better, because it's a corporate position his health benefits will start for the whole family on October 1st!!! YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!! So we totally lucked out, and we're sooooo happy and thankful that we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers, and we love all of you! Oh to make things even better, I'm FINALLY getting over my sinus infection, which has seriously been kicking my butt for like a month now, and Logan is also getting over his staph infected bug bite and swollen eye from his sinus infection too! (Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that???) His eye was almost swollen shut for a few days because he had a sinus infection that got into the tissues around his eye! How random is that! And also to get a staph infection from a bug bite???? Just leave it to the Davis family to come up with the most random health issues ever! Anyway, thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts! We're so much better!
We made a Pie

A few weeks ago I was craving apples, and got so many that I decided to make an Apple Pie! I had an easy recipe, and of course Brian had to get involved!!! (Which I absolutely love!) And so we made a pretty yummy apple pie! It wasn't that hard, and it actually tasted pretty dang good, for my first pie ever! I was proud!
Only Three Weeks Left!!!

Here’s my latest belly picture, although there are some pics from Vegas when I was 34 Weeks. I am now 37 Weeks, and yes, I’m counting. It’s kind of funny though, because I’m not nearly as antsy to have this baby as I was with Logan. I am doing a lot of sewing right now, so that’s keeping me busy plus I’m running around after a 2 year old! I’m feeling as well as can be expected right now, and I’m swelling so much it’s hilarious! I gained 8 pounds last week!!! Yeah, all in my ankles and hands, and I lost 2 pounds the week before that because I had an earlier appointment…hence less swelling. So it’s pretty funny now, and it sucks but I’m super healthy so that’s all that really matters.
I have an ultrasound on Tuesday to measure the baby, because I feel like he’s super big already and we don’t want this baby to break his collar bone like Logan did just from being borne. So if the baby’s big already they might induce me but I’m not getting my hopes up for anything. With my luck I’ll go in for my ultrasound and they’ll say that the baby is tiny, or move my due date back AGAIN!!! Hopefully not! So anyway, I’m doing good, and just getting bigger and bigger!
