Baseball and Easter

Alright, I admit it. I've been a slacker with my personal blog lately... Okay, maybe for a while. BUT here is a little picturesque update of my kids, their adorable easter outfits and Logan's newest adventure, baseball. Enjoy.

1st Soccer Game!

We signed up Jaxon and Logan for soccer this year, just through a little neighborhood league. It's super low-key and not too intense at all. They don't even officially keep score....However, Logan is really good! He kept track of his goals! He scored 3!!!! He was funny. He would just stand there on the field until I started yelling, and cheering him on then he would play like a champ, but the second I turned my back to watch Jaxon, he would totally stop..... Someone definitely wants to impress mom and dad!

Jaxon is a bit younger, only 3 so soccer is still kind of difficult for his group. And of course Jaxon runs out there on the field for the first time and slides on his belly/face... Needless to say he wasn't too happy about that, and sat most of the game out. Then after lots of encouragement from dad who is also the coach, he gave it another shot and ended up having fun.

This was my first experience with soccer and I loved every second of it. The kids were so cute to watch. It was well worth waking up early on my saturday morning!

Cleaning out my camera

Here are just some random pictures I couldn't just store away without showing some... This is our "Real Life" and what we do...

Sadie throwing dirt at La'Auberge in Sedona on New Years Day.
Sadie in the stroller at the temple for Christmas lights.
I am just amazed at how beautiful this little girl is, even with a stick on her face and snot running out of her nose and super crazy bead-head...She's just beautiful, and did I mention that she ALWAYS tried to get in front of the camera..... I wasn't trying to photograph her when I took this shot. But she follows me around and sticks her little head right in front of me!
Brian actually took this shot, I just edited it. Nice job Brian. It's in Sedona.
Jaxon loves his new rain boots and umbrella...even inside where there's no rain!
This was taken last sunday. I was (still am) super sick and the only contribution I made was reading this book to the kids before bed. Brian pulled out the camera and wanted to take a candid shot of us all, and before anyone said anything, Sadie looked right up at Brian and smiled just like this and said "eeeeeeee"....haha, she's a stinker, that one!

 Before Christmas I think.

Jaxon's hearts

Jaxon was eating some conversation hearts today, and logan usually reads what is on them for him. Well jaxon just told me what they say... (logan wasn't here to read them for him)
1. ”this one says great heart”
2. And this one says  don't watch a movie while you're getting a drink
3. And this one says don't put more pictures on yous wall, just put two.
4. This one says you can't eat at two tables, just one
5. This one says don't sleep with two rabbits
6. Don't hit persons with two balls

love those hearts!

she's so cute...

But little do you know, she is a monster. She got into desitin, just like logan did several years ago....I thought I put it away but apparently not. You would think I might learn from the first time...of course not. In fact I think I get worse as a mom with each day...lol

Merry Christmas

Christmas wa samazing this year, as it is every year. I really liked going to church on Christmas Sunday and listening to the Christmas music. I think it really helped me realize that Christ was truly the greatest gift we have ever received. And it helped me think about why we give gifts and how we can show our appreciation to God for our gifts. I am so thankful to have an amazing husband. He lifts me up, even when I'm on the heavy side. He makes me laugh even when there's nothing funny. He makes me cry when I think I can't. And I am so lucky to be his wife. We just had our 7 year anniversary in November and I am so excited for another 7 years. This Christmas my sweetheart surprised me with tickets to the Nutcracker! I was soooo excited as I have been wanting to see that every year for FOREVER, and I loved every minute of it. It was wonderful. Christmas morning was joyful, peaceful, humble, and crazy all at the same time. I'm so thankful for my beautiful children. Today the kids were being crazy and destructive, like always, and I jokingly said to Brian, "Why did we have kids?" And seriously, I know that I would not have known joy like I do now without their dirty smiling faces. Family is the the greatest gift.... (Well besides Jesus of course) Here are some random pictures that make me smile from our Christmas season this year.

Thankful for Family

This is my beautiful family, (Brian's whole family!). We had thanksgiving in San Diego with them and it was such a wonderful weekend. I love them so much and I'm thankful to be a part of their amazing family. This is the whole Davis clan! Well from Kerry and Rhonda anyway.  I hope you like these pictures!
