Here are some pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses. I did take one a little closer to Christmas, but I don't know what happened to it. It still shows up every time I turn my camera on, but it is no where to be found on my computer. I guess I was too efficient and deleted some pictures. I also had some pictures I took the day Kara got her new glasses, but they are gone too. We (Kara and I) went on a little date (I even got a baby sitter) to get her some glasses and me some contacts. We got to eat at the mall and stop by Libby Lu (going out of business and just about everything was $1), and have some fun time together. Brian and I try to go on Mommy kid dates every once in awhile. We go in spurts though. The kids seem to like the one on one (or two- sometimes Kara and Lindsay like to go together) time. I know Brian and I enjoy it too.
Kara is really a good sister to Seth. He really has taken to loving books. He even says Boo. He also says shoe (pretty clearly), sock (more like ah), clock (kind of cock), Jesus or Angel (when our Christmas tree was up, we had an angel on top, and he would say angel), and then the pictures in the church are all of either Jesus or angels, and I think they kind of blend, so now Jesus and Angel now sound the same. Kind of sound like Cheetoh or Jeetoh. He is really cute. He is saying more and more now. I don't know if I have been very dilligent in sharing his words, so I'll list some of them, Mom, Dad, I think he has even said Lulu, Matt, Kara (sort of), go, downstairs (sort of), diaper, milk, more (if he wants anything he says more). I think those are what I remember for now.
Here are some pictures I tried to take of Kara with her new glasses. She was being really silly, so most of them are funny, but you can kind of see. They are super cute, i think. I am just hoping they will last a couple of years because we didnt' get the super duper strong ones.
Here is Sethy (well really Kara helping him) opening his Christmas blanket from Grandma Skouson. I was going to take a picture of the whole thing, but I think I got caught up in making lunch, and the girls were too busy playing with it. Seth likes it fine enough, but the girls sure had a good time with it.
This week has been pretty cold. We had school canceled Thursday and Friday. We went out to lunch one day with some of Kara's friends. We are looking forward to one more day off of school tomorrow, and it will be much warmer, so we might actually venture out.
Brian starts school Tuesday. We sure have enjoyed having him around with a little more free time. Maybe once his school starts and he starts doing homework again, I might go to be earlier again. It has been fun staying up late with him and playing and having a break. He is halfway done though. Only 1 1/2 years more.
