Life Latest Snapshots

Date night with dad :)

Ice skating with the kids. It's so fun to see them skating around. Spencer is actually pretty good and Isabella is getting better. Mason even tried it on his own!

Family time around the piano! Love it!

Waffle party with my friends. We had sweet and savory waffles. It was sooo delicious!!

Enjoying the nice warm Winter weather ... LOVE it!

Mason hopped on this tricycle and started pedaling right away!

Date nights - We saw Body Worlds at The Leonardo and it was incredible!

Last weekend we watched Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Coat at the Rose Wagner Theater. It was really cool because the actors and actresses were teenagers and little kids!

My new favorite healthy spreads ... sooo good!

Joy School field trip to the Wheeler Farm. Mason loves joy school and he gets so excited when he's around his friends.

Isabella and I are having so much fun designing and making clay ring dishes.

We went to Mt. Aire to visit Em and Mike and it was quite of the adventure! There's not enough snow (or any) on the road, so we had to ride the snowmobiles on the asphalt! It was so hard! We finally made it up there and we had a great time. On the way back we had to park the snowmobiles a little over a mile up from the gate and we had to hike down the road back to the car. It was actually fun! The kids wanted to play "i spy" in the dark :D

We had an "Oscars Party" to predict the winners of the Oscars. I obviously lost since I haven't seen any of the movies .. haha! It was so fun and the food was delicious! Pati was the winner but, somehow, I ended up with the box of chocolate! Yummy!

FHE activity at the Trampoline Wairhouse. The kids always have a blast there. I'm not sure why but this picture of Mason looks so funny to me :)

He's growing up so fast ...

GNO with Megan and Candyce to celebrate "february frugal". We did so good not spending any money on "pleasure" things in February. Pretty much anything that you don't really need! Go us :) We have a new goal for March! And ... Sushi always!

Celebrating Liz's birthday with these awesome ladies! It was so much fun!

Arizona Trip

Over Presidents Day weekend we went on a road trip to Arizona! Doug and Linda came along with us.

We first stopped at Bryce Canyon. Such a beautiful place!

We ate and slept in Kanab.

The next day we visited this little Old West restaurant and then we headed to Arizona.

Then we drove to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! It was Doug and Linda's first time at the South Rim and they loved it. I can tell the kids enjoyed it too! So beautiful!

Cricket Anyone??

Then we drove to Flagstaff and spent the night there. The next day we drove to see the Meteor Crater. Wes was soooo excited to see it! It was pretty cool!

That night we went out for dinner. So Spencer had been asking me to buy dinner for all of us and I kept telling him that he didn't need to so he could save his money. Well, when we were in this restaurant, he asked again and I said no. Suddenly he started to cry! At that point I realized I was taking away from him an opportunity to give and serve others. So he paid for his meal and for his siblings meal. He ordered and paid cash to the server. He was so happy and I was so happy to see how generous and thoughtful of a kid he is!

Next day Wes and the kids spent most of the day in a aquatic place. There was a water slide that went outside and it was completely dark! They had a blast! After that we started to make our way back to SL.

After sleeping in Kanab again, we drove through Zion National Park. I love Zions! We stopped for a hike with an amazing overlook of the park! The kids did so well!! Mason walked the whole time and the weather was perfect!

Last stop was at Jacen's for Cafe Rio! And the kids got to ride the horse.

I love quick getaways like this. I can't wait for the next one!
