Motorcycle trip to San Rafael

This weekend we went to San Rafael to go motorcycling. There was a big group that went and it was so fun! The more the merrier!

We drove up with Ty on Thursday night and rode around on Friday. I just love riding and spend timing with the family.

That's one dirty hair this boy had there! :D

On Saturday we went riding again and this time Spencer rode on his own and he did so amazing!! The only part he didn't ride was on the sandy part. He's such a good lil rider!

Love this picture of Grandma with the grandkids!

On Sunday there was a CRAZY sand storm mixed with rain. It's hard to describe it but it was amazing watching that crazy wind sending dirt everywhere mixed with rain! Lauren has it on video. I took this picture of the motorcycles after it stopped.

What a fun time we had!

Isabella is 6!

My little girl is 6 already!!! She's truly a joy in our lives! It's interesting because, even though I am not in a hurry at all for her to grow up, I've been enjoying her getting older. Just because we are starting to find common interests here and there and do things together. I am excited to have her as a friend too.

This year, I gave her the option to have a party or a celebration, like last year, but including Build a Bear, something she's been asking me to do for a while. She chose the celebration and Build a Bear :)

Because I love get togethers ... I decided to throw a movie night and invite her cousins and friends. I loved it that the adults actually stayed and it turned out to be a really fun celebration! I wish I took pictures of everyone ...

She asked for brownies and ice cream, instead of a cake.

On her birthday, the day started early with her ready to go find her gifts. She asked me to hide them. Plus, she woke up to a bunch o balloons in her room. She loved it!

I planned to go to Kneader's for breakfast but she insisted on McDonald's! haha .. I don't blame her!

Then, to Build a Bear we went. She loved the whole experience and I actually enjoy it too! The ladies sure make it fun! She picked a cute soft dog and named her Rosie, because she looks just like her friend's Cassie's dog :)

We walked around mall afterwards and she even got a little git at the Lego store because it was her birthday!

The birthday girl needed a massage too ...

Then, as per her request, late lunch at Cafe Rio!! I just can't deny that! haha

A little later after the Rio, Dacia and Joe's family came over and she got to play with her cousins. She had such a good time today! I am so happy for her!

Here's a little bit about her -

She teaches me patience and thoughtfulness. She's fun, smart and pure. She shows me often that playing games with her is more important than my "to do" list. I am grateful for that. Today is her day. All planned by her. I am not sure what I did to deserve such an amazing daughter, but she's mine. She's my one and only girl and I couldn't have asked for a better daughter and friend. Happy birthday beautiful! I love you so very much!!

Piano Lessons

I am so so happy! Yesterday Isabella started piano lessons and I was so excited that I even asked the teacher to take pictures! haha Isabella's been excited too and seeing her "teaching' me her homework was the cutest thing!! For the record, I know nothing about piano, but between yesterday and today, I learned a few things ... barely ... hehe

I am just grateful she can start right now, when she's almost 6, and I hope she'll love it!!
