Today I had so much fun!! Wes, Mason and I went on a quick adventure while the kids were at school. We met with Emily at her paradise home for some snowshoeing fun. It was my first time and I loved it! It felt so good to be outside, moving my body again!
We found out, right when we were putting our snowshoes on, that Wes's snowshoes straps were frayed! He was such a trooper and went hiking with us anyway...just wearing his boots! On top of it, he carried Mason!! He's such a good sport! Love him!!
We went back "Brewer" way. That means not back the way we hiked up, following the trail :) So we went back down over the ridge in deep snow. It was seriously so.much.fun!! We kept sinking in snow and, sometimes, sliding down on our butts! Not because I wanted to, but because there was no other way! Soooo fun! I had a blast!
