Let's say we picked the perfect day to go to the Timpanogos Cave. The weather was great! Warm and cloudy. I was so excited to go there. I had been to the cave about 13 years ago but Wes had never been there. Plus the kids, mainly Spencer, kept asking to go see the cave. So we booked our trip about two weeks ago and I really was looking forward to visiting the cave with my family.
The kids were so good considering how steep the hike is. There were times when they were like "are we there yet? I am tired!" So I just handed them a licorice and it was all good! :D
When we were in the cave, I really wanted to take pictures without using the flash. At first they were vey yellow due to the combination of the yellow light they have in cave and my settings. I was able to fix that later. The cave was so interesting and beautiful. There was a time when the tour guy turned off all the lights and it was pitch black! I also loved when he put the flash light super close to some rocks. Some of them had green in it and you would never tell just by looking at it. I am glad the kids got to experience being in a cave.
Such a joy!
