More of him

Mason is doing some new things at 4 months. One of them is to suck his fingers. Unfortunately he doesn't like the binky. He takes it sometimes but definitely doesn't like it. So he learned that sucking his fingers can give him some comfort. Here's a couple of pictures of him "going to town".

He's also learned that being held is more fun than sitting or laying on his bouncer. Yes, not fun for me but I can't blame the guy ;) He's also being a little stinker at night lately. I just can't wait for him to sleep through the night. For that reason, I've been introducing him to some new toys such as walker (not to walk, to play), jumpers, shakers, etc .. He seems to like them. It's funny because sometimes he plays with the toys with such an intensity that almost looks like he's mad! Maybe he is, who knows! haha

Now, this was the best! About a week ago he started to turn his body to the side. Today I decided to take some pictures of his "new move". While I was taking the pictures, he suddenly turned over to his stomach!!!! I couldn't believe it! So I took more pictures and ran to tell Wes. I wish I was recording it instead. We'll see if that is going to happen again soon :)

Our Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend started Saturday morning with a "Easter Getter", that's according to Spencer. At Smith's by my house they hold this Easter Egg Hunt where they put a bunch of candy (I mean a bunch!) on the floor and the kids can just go and grab as much as they want. They divided it by ages, that way it was a fair "fight" ;) Because it was not a hunt, Spencer called it a "getter". 

Now, the best part of my weekend was our little picnic at the park. We had SO MUCH FUN!! We ate, played soccer, tennis, frisbee. The kids go to climb a tree and play in the playground. I think the reason I liked it so much is because Wes and I really enjoyed our kids. Playing, running with them and getting into their world. I love the stage that they are now. Even Mason had a blast .. sleeping most of the time :) .. but when he was awake he was all smiles. I really enjoy "enjoying" my kids :-)

As for Sunday, I decided to sleep a little longer since Mason decided to wake up almost every two hours until 4:00AM and I missed the kids egg hunting. I think by the time I realized they were up, there were already done hunting! I can tell they had fun and, oh my goodness, what am I going to do with so much candy!

I did get a couple of cute pictures of the trio though. 
I love love them!!!

Most importantly, we were able to share with the kids the real meaning of Easter. We watched a video of the resurrection during breakfast and I loved seeing Spencer participating and answering questions at primary about the resurrection of Christ. How grateful I am for His love for me. 

Getting Bigger

Little Mason is getting so big! He is a little over 3 months now and we can see more of his personality. He discovered his hands and it's so fun to see his face looking at them. I've tried to take pictures but when I am about to take it he notices the camera and stops to stare at the camera. I find it funny how much he stares at the camera - maybe because the camera is always on his cute face anyway :) He also discovered his voice and "talks" a lot! We are always having a "baby conversation"! Mason is been a great third baby for me. He's learned how to adapt well with our busy schedule. I seriously kiss his chubby chicks hundreds of times every day :)   

He knows now how to "play with toys". I love watching him hitting the toys and also grabbing the toy to bring it to his mouth. He's found his hands too and he loves to suck them! 

He noticed I was taking pictures so he decided to show off his six pack ... what can I say ... ;)

He's also laughing now - I really enjoy the giggles!

He's even been to the pool! OK, just his feet ;)
