Last week I saw this fun project and I thought it would be fun to do the same thing, but instead of doing this "day in my life" I did a week in my life. It will be fun to look at this week, six to twelve months from now, and remember little things we did here and there.
Fortunately the weather was beautiful and we got to do more things than usual. I am writing most of the good things that happened to us. There were lots of crying, whining and kids fighting too. I realized that, times like those, the last thing I remember is to grab the camera. I am too irritated to remember :)
Our day usually starts the same way - I get up and get the kids breakfast and ready for the day before 8:00 a.m.. I love my green shake every morning and it helps me to get through my gym work out.
After I drop off Spencer at school, I go to the gym. Yes, everyday, unless I have something going on. Having a baby in my mid. 30's had it's consequences. I also had to have a c-section due to some unexpected issues during labor. Soooo ... let's say my body is very different comparing with my other 2 post pregnancies. It's not easy to take cycling classes 3 times a week, plus toning and Zumba and some running every once in a while. However, it's been awesome for me and my health and I actually enjoy it.
Afternoons consist mainly in homework, reading time, playtime, regular "to do" things around the house and dinner. Here are some random pictures of our afternoons this week.
Playing ...
Even Mason plays now with his little toys :-)
Spencer and Isabella playing Candy Land their way ...
Yep, here's Dora and Boots dead .. hehe
Bella's new thing ... mix & mach socks. Love it!
Bubbles & Bubbles
Not so happy times ..
Nap and rest time
Just hanging out
This week the weather was so nice that we got to go outside. We took a walk through the neighborhood ...
And we even went to the park with cousins ... so nice to be outside!!!
We finished our week with a super fun getaway to Mt. Aire on Saturday. We went to Emily and Mike's place and spent the afternoon there. It was so relaxing being up there and spending time with them. What a beautiful and peaceful place to be.
On the way up Spencer and Bella were pulled by the snowmobile. It seems not safe but Wes was very slow and careful and the kids LOVED IT!! Mason got to ride the snowmobile and also he sled down with Wes on the sled. I know it sounds crazy for a two and a half month old baby but .. I guess we are crazy and, to be honest, I like to be adventurous :D He slept the whole time.
Before we headed up ..
Mason wasn't so sure about it but then he slept all the way up.
Our way up ..
A little video of them -
After we were back down ... nothing like seeing a silly happy face at the end of all :-)
Life is not good times all the time - but I sure like to remember them the most!
