Spencer's First Day of School - Kindergarten!

My little, I guess I should say big, boy is in Kindergarten!! I can't believe it! He's been asking about school for a month already and last week he was literally counting the days! I am so happy he loves school. He enjoys learning new things and meeting new friends. He asked me this morning what he was going to learn today :) I really hope he'll always like going to school.

There's this fun tradition the first day of school where they give each kid a pair of sunglasses and they take a class picture. I thought it was so cute and the kids felt really cool ;) 

Goodbye time ... I didn't get emotional but it sure melted my heart seeing him going bye-bye. He already told me that tomorrow he doesn't want me to walk him to class .. he wants to go all by himself! I said that would be OK :D

Congrats Spencer on your first day of school!! We love you so much and we are so proud of you! 

  SECOND DAY UPDATE:

Spencer made sure to tell me many times that he didn't want me to walk him to class. He was so confident about going by himself and I didn't want to take that away from him. So I let him go. When I told him he could get out of the car he was so excited! It was so cute watching him from the car walking to class. Well, I couldn't resist ... after he left I parked the car and walked towards his class just to take a pick .. hehehe .. I made sure he didn't see me and he was there in line with his friends and teacher. 

I just LOVE being a mom! 

Rockport Reservoir Boating Day

Last Saturday we went boating with Marcio and Sandra at Rockport Reservoir and it was a BLAST!! My brother is law was super nice to let us borrow his little boat. Seriously, these little boats are the best! It was Spencer's and Bella's first time tubing. We spent the day there playing and relaxing. Summer is the best! I am so glad Sandra and Marcio were able to come back to visit us again. Next time I see them, we'll both have new babies!! :)

Half Way There!

20 weeks! I can't believe I am half way through my pregnancy! This has been a little different pregnancy than my other ones. It started hard. So many changes going on in our life at the same time and I got a little depressed for a while. Plus I was sick for 3 months and it didn't help :( Thankfully After 14 weeks I was feeling much better physically and emotionally. Now I am more active. I'm even going to the gym and it's been awesome! Another thing that's been different is that this little one doesn't move as much Isabella did and sometimes I wish the baby moved more. I'm hoping that in the next weeks, as baby grows, I'll feel more movements. Everything is fine with the baby as far as doctors can tell so I am not worried about her/his well being. I just wish I felt the baby more often. Just because is fun :) 

Another thing that's been different from the other my other pregnancies is how Spencer and Isabella are involved with it. Spencer was so little when I had Isabella and now that both of them understand, it's so fun to see them talk about the baby and they are always kissing my belly :) They often pray for the baby and Bella has turned her stuffed animals to babies and she is the best little mommy! For a while Spencer was set that if it's a boy we had to name him Tarzan! And Jane for a girl :) hahaha ... It's been fun! 

Oh, another thing. As you can tell, I haven't referred baby to a he or she and that's because we decided not to find out what we are having until baby is born! This is going to be our last baby and if I don't do this now, I will never know what's like to have that surprise. It's hard because I can't be prepared ahead of time but I heard that the feeling of finding out after is awesome and Wes and I wanted to experience that. So it will be extra exciting to go on labor this time ;)

Solo at the Water Slide

Yesterday I took the kids to the Murray outdoor pool with Andrezza and the kids. I love that pool! We sure had fun but let's say Spencer had a BLAST! For the first time, he was able to go all by himself to the big water slide and, seriously, I think he went down like 50 times!! I am not kidding. The whole time we were there he was going up the stairs and down the slide. Funny thing is that he, with his little body, was passing ahead everyone in the line!! Very sneaky!! There were a few times when some people noticed him doing that and stopped him .. hahaha. It was so fun to watch him!! I was just sitting a the shallow area with Andrezza and Bella watching him. It was so nice to be able to let him play in the water without me needing to hold him the whole time. After he was down, he just swan back to the stairs. Thanks swimming lessons!! However I kept my eyes on him the whole time. We definitely don't mess with water. 

Summer Fun Lately

School is starting soon so that means Summer is almost gone :( Even though we didn't get to travel a lot this Summer because of Wes's school, we really tried to have fun and enjoy Summer. These are some of the things we did lately ...

Biking around. That was one thing we did a lot - biking! We all love it and we even got one of those carrier for longer rides so Wes didn't need to do this again ;)

After my sister left in June, the mattress in the "guest room" (as per Spencer) didn't go anywhere. One reason is because Sandra and Marcio were coming back in August. So for a week or so the kids slept there for fun and one day I checked them before I went to bed and this is what I saw :) She really was sleeping on his chest and they didn't even noticed! hahaha!

Picnic at the Murray Park. It was so fun just going the three of us. We ate, talked, read books and they played a little in the playground. Great times!

Spencer is 5!

Spencer turned 5 this month and let me tell ya .. he was very excited to turn 5. He talked about it for over a month :) We had a little party for him at our house. He was so excited to have his friends over. 

Wes organized a treasure hunt around the yard and it was really fun.

Happy Birthday Spencer!

Play time!

He was asking for this Powerwind scooter and I was not sure whether to get him or not. So I found a good deal on a brand new one on eBay and decided to get it. Plus my mom wanted to give something too, so she pitched in .. hehe. It was fun to see his excitement when he got it.

A fews days later, we had a party for the trio - Spencer, Katelyn and Evan. There was swimming, pizza, cake, gifts and great company with the Brewer's.
