Sisters!

My sister is visiting from Seattle this week and it's been so fun! Her husband came too just for a couple of days but it was so fun having him over. We've been taking lots of pictures. I'll post them another time. In the mean time, here's a fun one of me and my sister. Yep, both expecting December babies :)

Father's Day Video

I made this video for Wes for Father's Day. It was my first iMovie attempt and I could not figure out how to add text, oh well. Anyway, Wes enjoyed watching it with the kids :)

Out of so many things I knew about Wes when I was about to marry him, one was that he would be a great dad. I was so right!! He's an amazing dad and I know my kids are so lucky to have a dad who's there for them. Wes is fun and play with the kids like he is another kid. When Wes read books to them, he makes it so fun and entertaining. He likes to involve the kids in simple things like when he's making Gatorade, german pancake, working on the yard or even just changing a bike tire. He's definitely their hero :)

Happy Father's Day Wes! We love you!

Moments That Matter Most

A Facebook friend shared this video and I REALLY like it. For me, personally, with so many changes going on in my life right now, watching messages like this helps me to have a more uplifting perspective of things in life.

I am so grateful for the church and for how the Lord has mapped my life. Whether is easy or hard, I wouldn't want it different. He knows what I need to progress and I am grateful that He's guiding my life.

Interesting enough, right after I watched this video, little Isabella spilled her milk all over the floor. It was an accident and I could see myself being mad that I had to clean up or that she was not paying attention. This time, however, I made a better decision. She's only 3 years old and I talked to her instead to be more careful next time.

I have so much to learn. I am grateful I'm not alone ... He's watching over me.

Getting Wet

Despite my zero energy level yesterday, I managed to set up some water fun for the kids. It was one of those days that you look at your kids having fun and realize more and more how much joy they bring to you. I love my kids so much! With the sun out - yahoo! - they played a lot with water and sure had a blast!
PS: I love warm weather!

They loved the sprinkler under the trampoline

Catching Up ...

It's time to get up to date! Here are some pics from April up to date.
Scout-O-Rama
I took the kids the Scout-O-Rama this year again and they always enjoy the games. I am excited for when Spencer is old enough to be a cub scout. I love the scouting program.

Loving the good weather ...

He'll climb up anything he can reach!

Isabella Helping Dad

I used to do the same thing when I was about his age :)

Bowling

Wes made Spencer's dream come true! He made a safe way to go up the huge pine tree in front of our house. It's very high but, because of the branches, it would be very hard to get hurt if he were to fall ... at least that's what I hope ;)

Carolyn's ward activity. The kids loved decorating their bikes for the parade!

Eduardo & Monica

25 years ago an awesome group called Legiao Urbana realeased this song "Eduardo e Monica". Up to date it has been a huge success in Brazil. Just recently the phone company Vivo celebrated this song with a music video that shows the love story between Eduardo and Monica. A fun love story! Sorry, it's in Portuguese but I really wanted to keep it in my blog. Here is the lyrics in English. It reminds me of my life in Brazil and the thousands of memories that will never be forgotten in my heart. I guess I am a little home sick ...

Memorial Day Weekend Trip

Even though I was feeling sick I decided to join the family and head south for a little motorcycle trip. My father in law knows this place where no one goes to and it was the best camp stop! We were lucky to stay with him in his motor home. The kids loved the motor home!! They didn't need seat belts and they had so much fun looking around while grandpa drove. Fortunately I didn't feel so sick those days. Maybe riding helped me not to feel so nauseated.

Besides riding, the kids favorite thing to do was exploring around and climbing up and down the mountains. There were a couple of times we had to look for them riding motorcycles! They just kept going and going ...

We love riding motorcycles!

Motor home times ...

We can't wait for the next one! Hopefully I'll be able to ride this Summer ... we'll see :)
