To Remember

Blogging is my way of writing a journal. That's why I like to record things that will be fun to remember in the future.

I got these masks at Michael's for just a $1 each and they are really fun for the kids to color and play around with it.

It's amazing how kids these days have access to so many electronics such as video games. I still haven't got the Kinect yet but they both sure enjoy their Leapster. Best of all, it's educational!

Last Sunday the music director of the primary brought this big shield and sword made of card board. Spencer went crazy over it. Being a soft mom, I went to Smith's and got a large piece of cardboard cut 2 shields and 2 swords for them. Yes, Bella wanted to be part of the 'battle' :) It was fun to paint it and to see them 'fighting' the bad guys.

He's my future "Brewer Idol". Notice her microphone :) .. adorable!

I love photography and kids pictures are just the cutest thing ever to me! While I can't afford her to take pictures of my kids, I'll just content myself with JCPenney's freebies! (it's about time for me to get my camera out and start shooting again) Good thing they are so cute and they look good no matter what ;)

Last Days in Seattle

I am back home and I already miss being with my sister!! She is so fun and so giving ... I really wish we lived close to each other. Good thing Seattle is closer than Brazil :)

So, we were so into Knect. There is a Microsoft store in the Mall in Bellevue and they let you play Knect as much as you want. We liked it so much that we were even on a little competition. Of course we were not even close to win it since the 7 year old kids knew every word and every step ... not a chance ... however, we had a blast!!

Here is Spencer playing Knect. He looks so adorable playing it!!! I seriously want to buy this game!!

Here's a few pictures of our visit to the aquarium in Seattle.

We had a wonderful time in Seattle!! Thanks sister and cunhado for ALL you did for us!
We love you!

Sneak Peek

This is my 3rd time in Seattle. I came here the second time on a motorcycle trip with a group of + - 20 people. We actually only spent a day in Seattle. The rest of the time we were camping (somewhere, I can't recall the name now). Anyway, one thing that always catches my attention here, is how everywhere is so green! I guess not a surprise since it rains so much. But it reminds me a lot of Brazil. Green all year long. Coming from the cold snowy Salt Lake, first thing I notice is how green the city stays in the Winter time. I love it. I am staying in Bellevue and I seriously could live here. People golf here holding an umbrella! Not that I enjoy golfing but I thought it was interesting.

Today we visited the temple grounds and, to my surprise, tons of tulips have already bloomed! Most of the trees are starting to "come alive" again. It felt like a 'sneak peek' of the coming weeks.

I just love to see the changing of the season ... especially when Spring and Summer are the next two seasons ahead. I just can't wait ...

Seattle Feb. 2011

I am in Seattle!!  I am visiting my sister and my brother in law. They've been living in Seattle since last October. They will be in the States for two years! So the kids and I left on the 1st to visit them. The kids were so excited to fly!

I decided to post some of the pictures we've been taking before I get home (one less thing for me to do when I get home). Sorry, it will be a lot of them actually ...

Enjoying the sun

This place was awesome! You go inside a huge "room" with thousands of butterflies flying around you.
