WE HAVE A NEW FAMILY BLOG!!

I've been wanting for a while to change the template of my blog. For some reason blogger won't let me change it.
I've decided to create a new one with more of a "clean simple look". One benefit is that it gives you the option to view the blog in different ways.

My brewerfun blog is very dear to me. I have blogged memories since 2009! I hope my kids one day look through it and find special memories of our family.

Our family new blog is -

Hike to Ferguson Canyon

Despite Mason's broken wrist, I decided to go for a hike. We went to Ferguson Canyon. I had been there before but I'd never been that far in the trail. It was beautiful and green with lots of shade. We saw two small waterfalls and it started to get very steep! Sandy and steep! I still can't believe I was able to take Mason up there. I can tell they had a blast going down the sandy hill :)

This was the very steep sandy hill.

He loves trowing rocks.

They were "playing music instruments"

Going down ...

We saw a humming bird flying around us.

I sure enjoy my kids company! I'm glad they put up with me and my crazy ideas :)

Hike to Bell Canyon

My friend Roberta and her kids joined us to hike Bell Canyon. Ellie was here and she hiked with us too. We got up early and the weather was just perfect! We hiked to the lower reservoir and we walked around it. We played around the lower waterfall and it was so refreshing! Spencer and Lucas were trying to fish but no success. It was such a nice morning hike!

Zion National Park Getaway

I love quick getaways! We decided to go to Zions over the weekend and use our pass before it expires. Zion National Park is my favorite! So beautiful!

We left SL late afternoon and headed to Cedar City where we spent the night at Jacen's house. A little bit of media before bed :)

The next day, on our way to Zions, we were checking out the other side of the Park. I had never heard of it and we learned about a new hike, called Taylor Creek. We didn't know how long it was going to be and it ended up being a 5 hour hike!! Of course we took our time with the kids but they did pretty well and even Mason walked most of the way up. It was awesome! We saw two cabins and the trail ends at a huge "arch". I loved it how there was a little creek by the trail the whole time we were hiking.

Mason insisted on holding this big rock for a while .. haha

This is the "arch" at the end of the trail.

Love this picture of Mason running through the woods!

There was a lot of shade but it was HOT! Wes found a couple of little "pools" for us to get wet! Besides Isabella, we all got soaked!

On our way back, Mason was soooo tired and he felt asleep on Wes's shouder ... just like this!! haha .. poor kid!

Taylor Creek was definitely worth it!

After the hike we went to Winger's and the kids got to "fish" some prizes :) I love their expressions through the mirror.

Then we went to our KOA. I was amazed how clean that place was! The kids loved playing around while Wes and I got the tent ready.

Before bed the kids were playing games and I got this picture of my family. I must say I had a "little moment" ... I felt so blessed to have them. Being in that tent suddenly felt magical and I would never trade anything for that moment.

Mason waking up by me the next morning :)

After our big breakfast at JB's we went to Zions to hike The Narrows. I really wanted the kids to experience hiking in the water. And I was right ... they had so.much.fun!!!

It was a blast and I can't wait for another getaway!
