Baby Boy #3

We were very excited when we found out that we were going to have another little one join our family. I found out when I was only 4 weeks and was lucky enough to enjoy 1 1/2 weeks of normal life before the morning sickness kicked in. I've was  sick with both Jaxon and Jagger but I didn't remember it being quite as bad as it was this time around. It started at 5 1/2 weeks and didn't really go away until about 18-19 weeks. I wanted to try to be better at documenting this pregnancy; as much as I hate taking selfies I think pregnant ones are even more awkward, oh well.
This is one of my favorite pictures; his tiny little foot.

Fall

Once my morning sickness was better and I was up for leaving the house to do more than run errands the boys and I made a trip to the park. It was October so it was a bit chilly for me but the boys loved it. We tried out a new park so the toys were new and exciting.
He doesn't look happy but he was having a blast.
This teeter-totter was a huge hit. I just had to keep an eye on them. They would get a little wild and we almost had a few headbuts.
We had some crazy wind for a couple days, afterwards we spent lots of time raking up tons and tons of pine needles that covered our lawn. The boys thought it was pretty fun to run and jump into the nicely raked piles.
I guess it works well when you don't have leaves.

Picture overload

I was looking through my pictures and realized that I didn't blog very much from the summer. I spent a lot of that time really sick so we didn't do a whole lot but I figured I'd better document things from what we did do.
Jaxon, my personal superhero. He went for days having me try his blanket on as a cape. He would run around telling me he was coming to the rescue.
One of our dinner dates with dad at the hospital.
They love dirt!
We spent most of our time playing, being silly, watching way too much tv and movies, and of course making lots of messes. I'm pretty sad that the summer is over; we didn't get to spend near enough time outside because I was way too sick and the heat made it even worse. I did have fun laying on the couch watching the boys play together; having fun and being silly.

First Snowfall

A couple weeks ago we got our first real snowfall of the season. Jaxon was so excited he LOVES the snow and playing outside. He waiting patiently all day for Brent to come home from work and play with him.
We have just enough of a hill in the backyard that with the slick snow the boys would slide right down on the sled. They had so much fun playing it was heartbreaking when it was time to come inside. They were both in tears even though it was cold and dark outside. Jax is anxiously awaiting for more snow to get here.

Halloween

A few days before halloween we went and got pumpkins and had the boys paint them. They loved it. Jag kept trying to eat the paint; we had to keep an eye in him.
Jaxon would ask everyday for the last month if it was Halloween and was always a bit upset when I would tell him no. When it finally came he was so excited he wanted to go trick or treating before we even ate breakfast.
He spent the days right before wearing his pirate hat pretty much nonstop. He was so excited when we were on our way and after going to three houses informed me that he had enough candy. I love that he was perfectly content with only a few pieces of candy but we were able to convince he that we should keep going to a few more houses. Both boys had a blast. There is a street in our neighborhood that is super popular on Halloween so there are literally a couple hundred people that are out walking the street trick or treating which makes it fun for the kids. There were a couple of houses that were playing Halloween music that Jax thought was too scary and refused to go eight more feet to get a full size candy bar; funny kid. Jagger could care less and walked right up to the doors with Brent. Jagger caught on really quick and would do his best to say trick or treat and thank you to everyone and would tell them happy for happy Halloween. About halfway through the night he realized that people were giving him candy and was trying to grab and eat everything in his bucket while walking from house to house. Overall it was a fun night and of course we have way too much candy that will hopefully last us to at least New Years!

Boys!!!!

We are SO excited that baby #3 is going to be another boy!
Jaxon was really hoping for a baby sister and was a little confused/heartbroken when he popped the balloon and saw the blue confetti, he asked where the pink papers were. Both Brent and Jax were sure it was going to be a girl so they were both very shocked. I had guessed boy mostly to be different but really I had no real guess. We can hardly wait for March to get here so we can meet this little man.

Family Pictures

It took me a while but I finally found someone to take our pictures this year. I really like how they turned out it was hard to pick my favorites. Here are just a few.

Party Time!!!!

Another year has gone by way too quickly for me. Jagger had his birthday last week and he had a pretty good day. We had a pretty relaxed day then after his nap he opened presents and played while mom and dad made dinner.

He loved all of his gifts and plays with them daily. After dinner we sang to Jag and had cake. He was a little unsure about being sung to.

Jagger is such a great boy! He is definitely our wild boy and pretty fearless. He loves to wrestle and cars and a good movie. He is talking more and more and we can actually understand quite a bit of what he says now. He loves to play with Jaxon but he is also very content to just play by himself. He adds so much excitement to our lives and to our home.
