We found out yesterday that we're having a girl! She wasn't 100% positive, but there were no signs of boy parts during the ultrasound! So, I guess my intuition was wrong :( and I lost the bet :( darn it. But once she told us it was a girl it felt right, so we're extremely excited!
Brennon, my mom and Stevie went with me and when we told Stevie he was going to have a baby sister he said "Oh no". Then later after we left and I showed him the ultrasound picture and I told him it was his sister he said "oh no" again! That kid cracks me up!
We are going to name her Shelby Laine (probably). Mine and my mom's middle name is Elaine and we wanted to use that, but having Elaine right after Shelby has too many "e" sounds, so we're cutting off the e. Plus I think Shelby Laine flows really well and is just so pretty for our pretty little girl! Can't wait to meet her!

Home sick :(
Today I'm home sick, so I figured I'd update and try to keep on top of this. Not really sure what I've got, I'm going to see the doctor later today. My guess is either the flu or strep throat. My mom just got over strep throat so there's no telling.
I'm 18 weeks now, so we can find out what we're having like right now! We have to wait for the doctor to send orders to the imaging center then we can make an appointment. So hopefully by the end of this week or first of next week we'll know! I think it's gonna be another boy, I'm carrying really low and the heartbeat is always what Stevie's was, and plus, I want another boy :) Brennon's absolutely sure it's a girl though, so either way, one of us is going to be really surprised! We made a little bet, if I'm right and it's a boy Brennon has to buy me a prenatal massage and if he's right and it's a girl, I'm not allowed to complain about him being gone on the weekends scouting for his deer hunt for the next month.... I'm not so sure this is fair, but that's ok because I know it's going to be a boy :)
I've been feeling the baby kick when I'm laying down in bed. I can't really sleep well anymore and I'm only half way through! My lower back is KILLING me! I had really bad back labor with Stevie and I'm not looking forward to that again, so epidural.... YES PLEASE!
I've been meaning to post some pictures from over the summer, but our internet connection has been a little slow lately and wouldn't let me, so I'll try again so everyone can see how big and handsome my little man is!!
Hope everyone is well!

We're still alive!!
Holy cow!!! I have failed big time in the blogging world!! The last time I update this thing was when Stevie was 9 months old..... He is now 20 months!!!!!!
So much has happened! Frist off, we're expecting baby number 2!! I'm due February 18th. We don't know what it is yet, but Brennon is 100% sure it's a girl. I don't have any "feeling" about what it is, but I kind of want another boy. We'll see in a few weeks, we should be able to find out then whether it's a boy or girl.
Second, Stevie turned 1! Such a big boy now! He started walking at 9 1/2 months so he's been on the go ever since. He's so smart, he has a huge vocabulary and knows lots of animal sounds! He's still a little peanut, he just barely passed the 20 pound mark! He's been below the 5th percentile since he was born, but I was a little kid too, so I guess it just runs in the family. Secretly, I don't mind, I like having a little petite boy!
Brennon and I have both been working, nothing new there. He's been doing a lot on the house. He's been working on the backyard. Eventually it'll be flat enough that we can put a playground and some grass for Stevie to play in.
Wrangler and Cooper are still with us. They love it here at the new house. Wrangler gets to play outside all day and Cooper just kind of roams around wherever she wants, we really only see her at night. We got Wrangler a friend so he could play with someone while we're working all day, but that didn't work out too well. Her name was Maggie and she was a black lab and we got her from some lady that was getting rid of her since she never had any time for her. She seemed like the perfect dog, she was 8 months old so she was already potty trained, she was spayed, current on all her shots and even had a mircochip! She only lasted with us a few months... She was mean to Wrangler and a little to rough with Stevie. She was a sweet girl and it was sad to see her leave, but no one beats up on my Wrangler and gets away with it!!! :)
Well, that's pretty much it for now. I'll try my hardest to keep up on blogging again. Keep everyone updated with pictures!! Until next time!!!
