Despite it's New Year's Eve, I went ahead with my workout at Amore...reason? So that I can eat a little more tonight...as usual, New Year's Eve is always spent with my extended family, every year without fail.
Played mahjong till 5am this morning and woke up at 8am this morning for the Pilates class...was having second thoughts about going to the celebration, but i know i will surely kenna nag by my auntie and my mama if i dun turn up...i dun want to be 'niam' at the very beginning of the new year, boy!Haha...
Did the Body Composition Analysis today at Amore. Reason? Cos my weight has been increasing and it has been bothering me...dun say me hiao lah, I am sure all ladies (and some guys, maybe) out there will be just as worried as me if u see ur weight gg up...
*TADA*
My weight now is 47.2kg. As compared to the 45.5kg previously, I put on 1.7kg. But am relieved that I can still fit into my clothes. After doing the analysis, I am beginning to believe that I am weighing heavier now becoz of muscles and not fats.
My body fat consititutes 17.2% and its mass is 8.1kg. The desirable range of fat is 8.0kg-12.4kg so yes, i am in the 'OK' range, slightly lesser and it would be undesirable.
My muscles weighs 39.1kg and water in my body is 28.6kg. Am glad that I am heavier becoz of muscles...yeah....*cheers*

New Year Resolutions
We will be bading farewell to 2006 and welcoming 2007. One year has passed...let's see what have I achieved this year. Erm...
1, I managed to lose weight successfully.
2, I met the love of my life in 2005 and glad that we r still going strong in 2006, hope 2007 would be the same.
3, Finally starting to workout in the final month of 2006. (better than not doing rite?)
4, Successfully cleared all modules(luckily) and able to advance to have my practicum.
Now that 2007 is approaching, time to make some resolutions and hopefully able to fulfil them.
1, To work towards a healthier Sandra. That means less dieting and more exercising.
2, To do well for the upcoming practicum in late Feb so that i can clear the final sem in NIE.
3, To learn to curb my temper.
4, To have at least 7 hours of sleep every night so that my right double eyelid will come back to me.(Think this is a bit hard, but i will try.)

Counting down!!! 10 more days to go
What's the countdown??? It's the number of days left before school reopens! Yeah! Oh, please dun be mistaken, the 'yeah' is not for the reopening...jus that am still in a hyper mode so yeah yeah!!! Haha...
I gained weight!!! 1.5kg!!! *faint* has been reassuring myself muscles are heavier than fats and hence due to the classes at Amore, it is only justifiable that I gain weight.(Or am i finding excuses???)
Anyway, dearie said the same thing too...he kept assuring me that I am not gg to look fatter, instead will be more toned...i hope so too. *pray hard*
But, this does not stop me from going to Amore...unless my weight is going a straight line up... it has been great fun going to all their classes...Wooh!!!

Workout, firming, toning on Christmas Eve
It's Christmas Eve, having mixed feelings...happy becoz it's the festive season. Sad, the arrival of Christmas denotes school's reopening soon.
Anyway, though it is not family tradition to have turkey and logcakes on Christmas, usually not celebrated. I was at the Woodlands Amore Fitness today morning having Pilates classes despite the fact that i might not be 'committing sins' in the evening.
Noon was the jia-lat segment. Reached Jurong Point's Amore at abt 12.55pm.Supposed to attend Kickboxing class at 2pm...and there is a class which guide beginners on kickboxing techniques and sculpting and toning of muscles at 1pm. Since I am already there and I thought that it wun be that tedious since it is mentioned that it is for beginners...I was wrong! Terribly wrong...the sculpting and toning segment wore me out. Phew...
Next up was kickboxing and the instructor today also seem so full of energy...i think i burnt away all the extra calories that i have taken for the past 2 days...tired...
Lastly was the Abdominal, Butt and Thigh Toning Class...the name of the class is self explanatory. Though it only lasted for 30 min, it makes me wonder have i ever done so many toning exercise at 1 go in my 25 years of life...not joking, not exaggerating...
the Belly dance class is cancelled and today is the eve of PH...thank god it is cancelled...my legs and arms are aching now.
Going for a midnight movie - 'A night in the museum' later with dearie. Poor darling had to work on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day itself. I appreciate the effort he made to bring me to the movie despite after a long day work. Thanks dear, Love ya...

Retail therapy
Went to have my hair coloured today...damn satisfied with the results...love my stylist , Ben, to bits...he always know what i want...i merely told him that i want something that is striking enough...and i dun wan to have the same colour of highlight again...and tada! here is the results! highlight in streaks of blonde and gold...and i coloured my eyebrow also...tot that it is gg to be scary but in the end, i am glad that Ben convinced me into doing it...am so happy now...though expensive, but i feel that being happy with the result is more impt...at least the money is well-spent...going back to the salon again on Tue to do treatment...really need it..if not my hair wun be nice...haha...
Ben opened a salon at EastPoint Simei...will be helping him with the roadshow in Jan if everything goes smoothly..i going to be model leh...keke...support me ah....muahaha...
Dearie picked me up from the salon and off we went to vivocity for our shopping spree...din reali want to spend much actually...coz my hair already cost me a bomb...close to $500 for rebonding and colouring...need to put aside another $100 for the treatment...but seeing Dearie bought so many things, first is a pair of shoe, then a car vacuum cleaner, pants...the itch for me to spend money came...but i managed to control...until Dearie walked into the Levi's boutique and that's it...i saw the limited edition of the Swarovski Crystal jeans...something which i have been aiming...so in the end, i lost the battle and bought the jeans, dearie bought a levi's tee. then i bought a pair of heels at Bata...wanted to buy a jacket at Adidas but not nice lah..shall try my luck at the Boutique at Pacific Plaza tmr...keke...
Am now charging every single thing i bought to the Master Debit Card coz i wan to get 2 $50 shopping voucher so tt i can buy my pair of shoes from Aldo...
I foresee tmr will be a damn shag day...going for pilates in the morning, followed by Abs, Butt and thighs toning class, kickboxing, hip hop(maybe) and lastly Belly dance class. Eyelashes Perming
The vanity thingy inside me works up again...went for eyelash perming...i did take the before and after pics but think my cam not veli good...cant reali see it...so if u wan to see the effect, see me in person lah! haha....
I would say i am quite satisfied with the results...hope that it can last though. the beautician told me can last up to 3 months...if cannot...i will go and ask them to redo for me man! hng! muahaha...
the entire process is about 45 mins...can be quite uncomfortable as they need to use sthg like a toothpick to stick ur lashes on and apply the chemical...so the 45min can be quite torturous...i was so afraid that the chemicals will go into my eyes and i will become blind...that was when my mind started to drift off continuing to think if i were to go blind becos of vanity sure a lot of newspapers come and interview me. the other crazy thought that came to my mind was what if subsequently all my lashes drop!! finally time's up and its done...haha...
p.s. : went to the woodlands branch Amore Fitness for Pilates today and i went to one of the toilet in the building...and i am surprised to see this sign inside.
is this sign meant for the cleaners? or for the public users? haha...surprise our standard of english so jia lat...haiz...

CardioLatino!!!
Had my first CardioLatino Class today at Amore Fitness...basically it is a workout which incorporate latin dance moves into aerobics...fun and it makes me feel....sexy!!! muahaha...
Going for Pilates tmr again...
By the way, am so excited coz Sat is coming and i am gg to colour my hair...woo hoo!!!
got my timetable for next sem from Rebekah today...seems like i only need to attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays...that is, provided no changes...u noe how fucked up schools can be when preparing timetables at times....not always lah...
hmm...seems like i can continue my classes with Amore if school is not gg to be that hectic...but I NEED MONEY!!!haiz...

Aching all over
Phew...just back from the kickboxing and Pilates class...to my utmost surprise, it was not kickboxing that tires me out, but Pilates!!! Think is becoz of all the stretching and controlling of breathing...now body aching man! esp the legs and arms...
anyway, it is still great fun...woo! shld have a try...can tone the body...hopefully u can see a more toned me huh...haha
but i seriously feel that when people say there is no ugly women, only lazy ones, this sentence is seriously incorrect...shld be no ugly women, only poor women...agree?

Wanted to go tanning today...but it has been raining since ytd nite....so in the end? 10 hours of mahjong session....it has been such a long time since i play mahjong for so long...my arms were feeling a bit numb towards the end of the session...haha...now my leg muscles ache...i wonder why???hmm...

Feeling Energetic

I believe strongly in this sentence. I was still feeling a bit tired and sleepy before I left home to Amore Fitness at Jurong Point. Nevertheless, I did not regret signing up for the package. Went for my first class today with my cousin Maxie. We went for this class called "BellyBlitz" which combines traditional belly dancing with Aerobics. Boy! It was fun! We decided to go more often for this class subsequently. Of course being the 1st lesson, it was a bit hard to follow the moves by the instructor, but the instructor's moves are so nice that u aim to be like her...haha...need to work very hard though...hmm...
Tmr will be tanning day! Hope the sun will be out...it has been gloomy for the past 2 days...time to give me back the sun. No sun? then it shall be mahjong session...also workout wat! for the arms...keke..
Wednesday will be a packed day. mixed feeling...
Sigh...I am sorry that my post has to start with a sigh but i reali cant help it. my internet connection suddenly went bonkers on monday nite. it was still working fine and 'show no indication of failing' when i went for my showers. then suddenly when i am back..the connection is gone and no matter what i did, nothings works...spent the whole of ytd morning trying to call the relevant parties eg singnet, the modem company...blah blah blah...both cant seem to find out where the problem lies...here i am at dearie's place using his internet to post this entry...sianz!later still need to bring the stupid modem to the company to let them check wat's wrong...pray hard that everything can be settle fast.
ok...done with the sad and angry stuff. now the happy stuff...dearie came back on the 10th at abt 9pm...so happy that he is finally back...he bought a ring for me...a ring which i have been wanting so much to get it but din have the chance to in singapore. i did not tell him abt the ring before this...never...but guess what? when he told me he bought a ring for me, i was thinking deep down inside my heart if it is the ring that i wanted...and tada! it turn out to be "YES"!!! am so happy like a bird!!!haha....
went tanning with my cousin on Monday morning. Dearie felt tired aft the trip, hence he slept in. the sun was good...both our faces were as red as cooked lobster when we left the swimming complex...
we went to sign up for Amore Fitness class for a month at the cck lot 1. a great bargain i wld say since their usual fee is $110 per month and with the roadshow promo, it is only $58!!!we are gg to try it for a month...hopefully we can lose some of our fats...
this is the healthiest holidays i ever have..haha...
went bugis with dearie on monday nite and we saw the coolest, brightest christmas tree for 2006...the Soo Kee Diamond Christmas Tree...everybody was busy taking photos with and of it...so i cannot lose out mah...i also take lor...jus that i did not take with the tree..

ok...done with the sad and angry stuff. now the happy stuff...dearie came back on the 10th at abt 9pm...so happy that he is finally back...he bought a ring for me...a ring which i have been wanting so much to get it but din have the chance to in singapore. i did not tell him abt the ring before this...never...but guess what? when he told me he bought a ring for me, i was thinking deep down inside my heart if it is the ring that i wanted...and tada! it turn out to be "YES"!!! am so happy like a bird!!!haha....
went tanning with my cousin on Monday morning. Dearie felt tired aft the trip, hence he slept in. the sun was good...both our faces were as red as cooked lobster when we left the swimming complex...
we went to sign up for Amore Fitness class for a month at the cck lot 1. a great bargain i wld say since their usual fee is $110 per month and with the roadshow promo, it is only $58!!!we are gg to try it for a month...hopefully we can lose some of our fats...
this is the healthiest holidays i ever have..haha...
went bugis with dearie on monday nite and we saw the coolest, brightest christmas tree for 2006...the Soo Kee Diamond Christmas Tree...everybody was busy taking photos with and of it...so i cannot lose out mah...i also take lor...jus that i did not take with the tree..

Party!!!
Yesterday has been a fun-filled day!!! Went tuition in the morn then decided to go to my auntie's place to see my god daughter cheryl...she has grown prettier...more ladylike now...instead of looking like Jay Chou...i think she has the making of being a compere or MC...shall groom her for that...haha...she can talk real well now...
Met up wif one of my sec fren for dinner...and we went to this place call 'Geographer Bar' at Clarke Quay. They had a thai band playing there...i muz say the band is good. singers have good vocals and looks...asp the female singers...i wonder how they achieve such firm thighs...i told my frens that this is the 'safest' pubbing places i ever went, coz with all these pretty singers...the male desperados basically leave u alone, unlike Dbl O, where u sure get some buggers bothering u...haha...anyway, stayed there till 4am before i left...
hmmm...dun seem to be having enuff fun. shall vow to club, pub and drink more...wahaha...
waiting for my pay to be out so that i can start my shopping spree...cant wait man! Am in a fun-loving mood now...

After such a long wait, finally Shi Xin Hui's album is out. Frankly speaking, I feel that her vocal is much much better than Kelly's and she shld win the title of PSS1...but, what's over is over. Among the 4 finalists, she is the only one that the first hit is a fast song. Nice try, heard that she wrote the lyrics herself for this song, not sure about that though.

In less than 8 hours time, dearie will be on his way to KL...haiz...
i tot i shld have no prob getting used to the feeling of not having him around, but nevertheless, think i'm wrong...let's hope that these few days will pass as quickly as possible.
in fact, when i got to know that he is going on this KL trip, i started to plan my get-together with my poly frens, sec frens and even tot of partying sessions...now i am wondering do i reali have the mood to do all these...U know wat i mean???

recently i have the urge of BBQ-ing...coincidentally my cousin felt it too...but couldn't find any kaki...so haiz...me and my bf even have this crazy idea of having a BBQ but just the 2 of us...i bet we will get lots of attention boy! though deep inside my heart, i tot it is pretty 'lomantic'...keke

Bad day
Today is just not the day for me and dearie.
First I have got this terrible pain (i dunno which part of my stomach, just pain lah!) since morning and it is still hurting now. Damn! Hope that it goes off tmr...I have a drinking session. *Pray hard*
Second, when dearie went to take his car to drive me back, we realised that one of his wipers was stolen. Damn that fella. I curse him to get into an accident for stealing people's wiper. Went to the police station to make a report, and in the end, onli get home not long ago...haiz...

A nice lil' surprise

Went to watch 'Happy Feet' on Friday. It was a nice show...really love the penguins so much....especially those few with the Italian accent....omg...they never fail to make me laugh. While we were queueing for the tix, saw the soft toy of Mumble, one of the character in 'Happy Feet'. Dearie knew that I love Mumble, so he asked the counter staff how do we get the soft toy. We were told that we need to get 4 tix before we get the soft toy. Dearie was more disappointed than I was, surprisingly. I told him it's ok, I dun really need it that badly.
We went to watch 'The Battle of Wits' starring Andy Lau on Saturday...before we went in to the cinema, i told dearie that i had a craving for popcorns...while queueing for the popcorn, dearie saw the promotion for the popcorn combo of the week, which they are giving away 'Happy Feet' cartoon character soft toys too, but smaller in size. Dearie bought the combo, a bit expensive though, a hefty 9 bucks...He even asked the counter staff if he can choose the character...and of course he chose Mumble for me. Felt so touched that Dearie bought the combo becoz he knew i love the character Mumble, even my msg ringtone is the rap that one of the baby penguins sang...haha...

Happened that my outfit for that day matches Mumble....grey and black...
i am just short of the yellow beak...haha...

Oh yes! Misery has ended today officially at 11.30am! Yes! Exams are over! Party time!
Went for a sushi feast with Qiaoping and Felice right after the exam, but no pic...coz Felice had her specs on and she thinks that it is ugly!
After sushi, we were thinking what we should do and in the end we went for a back massage. It's quite painful actually. The masseur who did the massage for me is pro but it is pain de lor! there is one "stunt" which left me a very deep impression. a towel was put round my neck, for a moment i tot a murder case is going to take place. with 1 pull, i can hear the whole of spine 'cracking', u noe what i mean rite? according to the masseur, this 'stunt' will put all the vertebrates into place...the cracking was so loud that Qiaoping can hear it outside the cubicle...though i was shocked for a moment, it was actually quite shiok...
went to the arcade for a while and we all headed home...coz all of us were so tired aft the massage. but i managed to buy some stuff at Missha before heading home, shall try on the new eyeshadow and lipstick tonight! hee...
tmr will be the movie marathon day! so excited! going to watch happy feet and the battle of wits..starring andy lau...the forever so handsome and sexy man! woo....*drooling*
i am still waiting for him to hold a concert in singapore...think the last one held was about 5 to 6 years back...
wanna go clubbing....play mahjong...go for yoga classes....if u r interested in any of the above-mentioned activities, please let me know yah?

I am supposed to be studying for my friday paper but what's new...So here I am!
1st of all, I need to thank my fren for this idea and permission to blog...and the title of my entry is:
What constitute a heartwarming and touching love letter?
I must stress that I am not focusing on those letters filled with sweet nothings...rather the content is focusing on asking for a second chance, a patch-back, etc.
1) It must be grammatically correct.
Before u decided to send the love letter to the girl of your dream, please double, triple check your letter to make sure that it is free of grammatical errors. Imagine, what will the girl think when she receive this letter and full of grammatical errors. Instead of feeling touched, she will burst out laughing...For example a sentence like this,
"I once had a relation..."
"Relation" and "Relationship" meant 2 different things. According to the dictionary, 'relation' refers to a person, and this person is usually a family member, a relative or a next of kin to you. Whereas a 'relationship' refers to a connection, a bond between 2 person. I would feel that the girl would be scared off by you acknowledging her as a family member right from the start of mending a once broken relationship. I would think that in this case, 'relationship' is more appropriate.
2) No spelling errors.
What good can it make if ur letter is full of spelling error? If I am the girl, I would probably dump it into the bin as it seems like a slip-shod piece of work. For example, there is no such word as 'regrads', I supposed the writer is trying to say 'regrets'? I can't think of other possibilities.
3) Use appropriate examples.
No doubt star, moon, sun and sea are boring examples to use in love letters, they are still the fool-proof items. The girl might think you r not innovative, but other than that, they shld be pretty harmless.
Under NO circumstances, should u be using examples like Toothbrush, Toilet Paper, etc. Imagine a guy say this to you: "You are my Toothbrush" or "You are my Toilet Paper." Think I will faint if a guy ever comes to me and say that I am his toothbrush. I would like to give him a punch on his face, very much! U mean that I am something which u use to clean ur stinky mouth when we wake up in the morning? Yucks! It is not romantic at all, it's gross! Though the underlying meaning might be "you r a necessity to me, i can't do without you" , a better substitute would be You are oxygen to me." You are still telling the girl that she is a necessity, in a more nice-smelling way, of course.
So guys, now you know what to take note of when writing a sweet little something to the girl of your dream? Good luck!

think my exam luck has forsaken me liao...haiz...just hope that i can pass this module...i dun ask for much.
next and last paper is on friday....was discussing with a few of my frens on which are the more impt ones to concentrate on...but in the end, no conclusion...apparently this paper is hard to spot questions...hope that i can find the motivation to start on the paper tmr...tonight is for recuperating...wahaha...thinking where i shld go for dinner now...hmmm
it is always the case for me, i dunno abt u guys but for me, whenever i completed something major...i will like to give myself a little treat... or rather treat myself better...wahaha...
but come to think of it, i have treat myself damn gd during this exam period...chips, sweets, ice-cream, chocolate and even muruku...wahaha...hope i wun put on too much weight liao...*pray hard*

The feeling i am experiencing rite now is ironic and complex.
When i sees everyone facing this memory space problem (too much info to rem), i am beginning to wonder if did i left out any impt stuff which i am supposed to read? I know I gave up certain chapters which could be quite a high risk i am taking but i just simply dun have the motivation to read more.
I want to recap further yet, i just dun feel like doing so. This is the 1st time that I feel that my head is not being bogged down by all the info that i need to rem. I am feel so "light-headed", literally, that is.
I hope that this is not a bad omen...I am beginning to think of the possible scenarios that would happen tomorrow. Turn over the exam papers and get the shock of my life, not being able to ans the questions, cant recall whatever i have studied...
it is always during the exam period that I get very paranoid..fearing that i rem the exam timing wrongly...had to reconfirm with a few ppl before i can set my mind at ease. this is bad...
cant wait for this friday to come...where i can throw all my notes aside (at least for the time being, coz if fail then i will have to retake). cant wait for the outing aft exam...am so so looking forward to it man! wanting to do a lot of things aft the exams...

Traffic on my blog has been pretty slow, viewership decline..haiz. I supposed it is due to the oncoming exams? I hope so...
Despite that, I still believe that my blog is not just a channel for my ramblings, it should also be 'educational' and 'informational'...keke...so here comes ur fill of 'food for the brains' of the day!!!
Forget about learning parallel parking
For those who had failed ur driving test becoz of parallel parking, you could probably reason out with the tester using the following line:"You can't fail me just bbecoz I can't do parallel parking, i dun nid to know how either, coz my family drives a Volkswagen Touran!"
The Volkwagen Touran
The function is known as 'Park Assist'. How do u operate it then? read the following: (courtesy of Weekend Today)
Pull up to a row of parked cars, press the Park Assist button near the gear lever and continue to drive forward. This tells the system to "look" for a suitably-sized space for the car to slip into.
Once it passes a space at least 1.4m longer than the car itself, the electronic screen in the instrument cluster prompts you to select reverse gear.
As the car moves backwards, the steering automatically swivels by just the right amount in each direction, manoeuvring the car into the space.
The system works in tandem with the built-in parking sensors so all you need to do is hit the brakes when the staccato beeps become a continuous tone, signalling that the car is now as close as it can get to the vehicle behind.
At this point, the screen instructs you to select Drive and the steering swivels again to straighten the car within the space. Impressively, Park Assist works with spaces on either side of a road.
Toyota has a more advanced version of the system called Auto Park that can also reverse park automatically. However, this feature is not available on officially-imported cars.

*yawn* = tired, from the neverending tuition sessions i had despite school hols...
nevertheless, i know there are people out there whom are more tired than me...at least 1 whom i know of...my dearie! poor fella had to work for 3 days in a straight row, 1 day shift and 2 night shifts...and he has to be "ahmad" on his only sleeping off day (friday)to send his bro for his camp errands..and guess what? tmr he is on morning shift again and sunday, night shift...
am so sad that i wun be able to keep him company on his off days (mon and tue) because of my exams...sorry darling...
i always take good care of my darling...so i decided to cook him something...
u dun laugh because i took "food and nutrition" is one of my O-Level exam subjects...no easy feat when u have to whip up a comeplete meal(abt 8 dishes, including a drink and dessert) in 2 hours when we were just 16 years old.
u can laugh coz eversince then, i did not reali cook any decent meals...wahaha...
i made black chicken soup with american ginseng and fructus lychii (gou qi zi). it is the 1st time that i am handling black chicken....when i bought the chicken back from NTUC, nearly freaked out when its head dropped out when i took out the wrapper. din noe that they stuff its legs in its stomach too...when i pull 'em out..the feeling is eeeeewwwwww....*brrr*
I decided to take a closer look at its head. saw its eyes were shut(i noe its crap, of course its shut) and i tried to open one of it...and freaked out once again and i seriously regretted doin so...clean it up hurriedly and put it together with the other ingredients to cook...
hurriedly washed up and prepared to leave home for tuition. darling couldn't understand why am i taking up so many tuition assignments...well, i dun have much of a choice, do i? can't be bothered to explain the reasons here, if u r interested to know, call me bah!
5 hours later, i was back home again. the 1st thing i do was to check out the soup.just nice! here it is!
on a side note, dearie got a guardian angel for his car!
tuition again tmr morning! need to study for my 1st paper after tuition...gotta hit the bed rite now...am so so tired *yawn*

the feeling rite now is sian...dun say i like to whine lah but just can't help it, the period before exams always sucks, want to study and yet no mood, dun study feel guilty. haiz...very pai zho wan!
anyway, i have my set of fun liao, overnight mahjong on friday nite, won again! haha....went johore on saturday then ytd went Wild Wild Wet...so time to bring my heart back to study...haiz
but muz still ramble abit before i go back to study....but...now our penal code change liao...cannot anyhow say, ltr i kenna trouble...muz think think 1st...erm...ok! here it goes:
heard from the news ytd that GST will be incresed to 7% next year, my 1st reaction was "huh? one more thing going up?" i read an article once, it mentioned that we r the "new poor" generation. earning enuff to stay alive but never enough to save up, in short, we spend what we earn. not becoz we r always spending money anyhow, but the standard of living makes u go broke a few days before ur next pay check comes. take myself for example, my pay cheque alone is onli thousand odd...after minusing the allowance for mum, handphone bills, internet bills, laptop instalment and investment cum insurance bills, i am left with a miserable sum of money, abt $15 to spend per day, go and do ur maths to find out tt amount!
that is why i take up tuition. one is supplement my income, two is to ensure tt i still have savings for myself. haiz...i envy ppl who jus have one job...boo hoo...
GST gg up, though i know other country is 10% and ours is only gg to be 7% but ultimate it is going to be 10%...i know...we can bet on this.
government is going to make adjustments for the lower income families. but we all how? dun belong to the rich and mighty but yet we r not the poor and miserable ones? in short, jia buay bah, yao buay si...how how how??? seriously, i dun dare to think for my future...

Despite that it was pouring on Saturday, Dearie and I decided to go ahead with our plan to go into JB. Only that this time round, Dearie drove and we parked the car at the carpark near Woodlands Checkpoint and walked our way there...
We headed to the Japanese restuarant at CIty Square immediately upon arrival in Malaysia. It is located on the third floor, the food there is pretty good, though the price is comparable to Singapore's, the food there is not bad lah.
Those who are yoghurt freaks like myself should indulge yourself in the Yami's Yoghurt there...it only cost RM3.50 for a regular cup, which is only S$1.50!!! Compared to the price of S$2.30 they are selling in Singapore. Vow that I shall eat a cup of it whenever I am going in to JB...haha...
Wanted to get myself a few pairs of shoes over at City Square, but sad to say, the shop which I always patronise has already closed down...in order to "ease" the pain, I bought.....6 pairs of earrings!!! For only RM20!!! which is only S$8.60!!! cheap like siao!!!! If I dun buy, I will feel that I let myself down for letting go such a good bargain!!! If it is not because I need to keep some money for the 3-quarter jeans and the seafood dinner, I would surely buy more....
Now that you know, beside being a yoghurt freak, I am a earring freak too...wahaha...reason is simple. I dun like to wear necklace (coz I am afraid that in case of snatch theft or robbery, I might get strangled!Not that I wear a lot of gold for them to snatch lah, just in case mah...). I always feel that earrings are very important accessories and they MUST be matching with the clothes that you are wearing...haha...okok...enough said, lets look at the earrings I bought.
Another happy thing, I finally found the crown earring which i like!!! If u r interested too, can go to the 'Fresh Profusion' at Bugis Village, they have it with pink gem too..think i am goin to get the pink one also...
Ok...put the earring thingy aside....while at JB, we went to this shop where they sell all the local products and we saw this!
Remember the preserved fruit that we eat? The Mo Fa Ko? Now they have it in pastilles form!!! Just that Ribenas!!! Haha...and the shape of the pastilles do realli look like Ribenas' pastilles....See!
Taste wise, not as sour as the preserved fruit itself, I suppose it is due to the sugar coating, rather sweet in fact, taste of the Mo Fa Ko also not that strong, quite nice lah.
hmmm...that's about all for my JB trip...*yawn*...need to hit the bed liao...

Reached home around 1oplus jus now and saw an envelope on my bed...opened it up and saw this!
have u receive urs? I tot that it is supposed to be quite cool despite that i would have an extra item to carry with me from today onwards. but turn out that the gadget look quite kiddish lei...dunno y, maybe it is becoz i am old le bah...haiz...
the personalised stickers were...erm...well, it is the thought that counts lah! though u can only personalised half of it, the front. (a bit...errr..., imagine infront is my favourite pink and behind is the ugly red.) *shrugs*
Told dearie that it is really no good that he is on leave, coz i ended up accomplishing nothing...my DCC report is waiting for me to finish it and before i realise, i have only one week plus to finish the report, making notes for DSJ and DSC exams and memorising them....Real shit! Haiz...To think i happily agreed to go Malaysia this saturday when dearie and frens suggested it...*sucks big time* haiz haiz...
though my body would like to work on the report very much, my mind is telling me that it can wait till tmr...

刚刚读了一名中学生的部落格，让我深深地体会到，人，在一时冲动所作的决定不止会影响自己，更会影响到别人的一生。这名中学生和我虽没直接的亲属关系，但我也是从小看着他长大的。接下来我要说的，就是发生在他身上的故事。
当时，女的只有19岁，男的大她几岁吧。在大浪的冲击下，两人立即坠入了爱河，也决定步上红地毯的另一端。刚开始是甜蜜的，两人有了爱情的结晶。除了他俩，最高兴的莫过于双方的家长了。
正当以为一切是美好的，是幸福的时候，传来了两人婚变的消息。女的，因为加入了某宗教，逐渐沉迷于其所主办的各种活动。可能是因为年纪轻轻就结了婚，之后赫然发现自己所看到的世界还不够广，还向开拓自己的视野。渐渐的，她与丈夫疏远了。两人最后以离婚收场。最可怜的就是孩子。抚养权判给了母亲，本来是件该欣慰的事，因为我们都相信母亲是总还是比父亲来得更会教育孩子。虽然男方极力争取，但是仍改变不了法庭的判决。
这一晃，十年过去了。这孩子现在已是名中学生。男的，现已再婚。女的，仍旧沉迷于宗教活动。孩子呢？每天回到一个冷清清的家。连和妈妈一起吃饭的机会都少之又少，更别说是谈天。以下是他写的一段话，让我看了，鼻头不禁酸了起来：（因为话题敏感，所以所有与宗教有关的字眼已被**********取代。〉

Shopping therapy really helps in relieving stress, cancel my tuition today coz when i read the newspaper this morning, it said:" it is a day to 'eat snake' and enjoy myself." ho ho ho...so I decided to go Bugis to get the top which i reserved at BYSI..yoo hoo!!! finally got them, then i went over to bugis village, bought another top, one bottom and 3 pairs of earrings...please dun be mistaken...i din anyhow spend money...the earrings are meant to match the outfits i bought today wor! at least i din buy a pair of shoes to match...which i think is good enough le..wahaha..
so happy today, though i feel a bit tired now...so report on hold again...wahaha...

Women r born spend-thrift...shopaholic...
i just got my tuition fees today(Wednesday)from one of the kids...immediately, i went to bysi to buy tt top which i saw on Tuesday...but think damn suay again..happy and sad...Happy becoz i can fit into the XS size top, sad becoz it is the last piece....but luckily they have it in bugis...so tmr (thursday) will be gg down to bugis aft my tuition...wahaha...
jus as i was leaving the shop, i saw this dress...so nice and dearie said it is not bad looking too...so went in to try and started to think if i shld buy it...not cheap lei...muz think carefully...in the end, dearie said he will pay for it as our 1st anni present!!! thanks dearie!!! *muacks*
went to ebase...coz i spotted a tank top which i like on tue but aft trying it on, doesn't look as nice so...ok! good! save money...wahaha
women women women...well we make ourselves look good for who??? u tell me...

but on the other hand, so touched by 2 of my frens' words of concern when they saw my nic on MSN (i had it as 'fucked up'), they started to ask me what had happened and start to console me to ask me dun be so pek chek...thanks, Issac and Dewei...
back to this stupid report, i did tell myself that i had to finish it by end of this week, but from the looks of things, i doubt i can do it le...haiz (Shuyu! Ur turn to push me le!!! haha...)

I remember, we used to be only going out with our wallet. Subsequently, we began to carry pagers around with a golden clip in ur pocket. Much later on, we started seeing people holding their water-bottle lookalike dai-gor-dai in their hand, finally we started to compare whose handphone is the smallest, lightest or whose has the most functions? Starting from end November, U might be carrying an extra gadget around.
Presenting the DBS iBanking PIN gadget.
This gadget is supposed to generate a PIN for you to key in when u r logging in for Internet Banking. So u will have to key in ur usual PIN for 1st log in, then press the button on this gadget to generate a 2nd code to key in before u r allowed to use the internet banking functions. Sound pretty cool rite?
Though it is a form of added security, it is not really tt great an idea afterall, imagine u will have to carry this around in ur bag, since we do not necessarily only do internet banking at home. Imagine if u have more than 1 bank account (I have DBS, UOB and OCBC), and all these banks start to launch their own individual gadget...think my bag is going to be much heavier and bulkier.
Brrrrr................I wun want to think of that...*shivers*

Luck hasn't been gd recently, ytd nite, flu virus launched an attack on me and unfortunately, my troop lost the battle, so I kena runny nose, pop 2 flu medicine which made me so drowsy tt I decided to give the morning lecture a miss...anyway, attended also cannot understand...better spend my time sleeping...got the news from QP tt the lecturer is gg to continue with her lecture next week. &*%^$#@&*!!!
Next week is already Week 13...school shld be over and it shld be time for us to prepare for our exam ok!!! That's not all....the mother Fu**er even want to start her lecture at 8.30am!!! That's 3 hours!!! %&%^%@#%&@*%&^%!!!!
More suay things coming up. This afternoon, the bus which I am on( bus 106), kena accident with a pizza hut delivery boy when it is already so near the Bukit Batok Interchange. The time was 11.50am...I have a class at 12.30...i shld be able to make it on time if not for the stupid accident. just then, another bus (bus 66) stopped on the other lane and came over. Seriously, I dunno what the bus 66 driver is there for...he is on the outer lane and the accident obviously has nothing to do with him. There were some ding-dang-dong btw the drivers and the delivery boy. When I looked at my watch, it was already 12.05pm!!! $^^&*^^%$#@#!!!! and it is still not settle yet and these 2 stupid bus drivers occupied both lanes at a traffic junction which cause such a disruption to the cars behind...reali no brainers!!!
Anyway, to cut the story short, I went up to the bus 106 driver and asked him if he is gg to go to the interchange or not...it is just so near but we cant get off the bus becoz 1st it is raining, 2ndly, though near, to walk to the interchange, it would be quite a distance. haiz...
He told me: " He(referring to the delivery boy) is injured, need to settle him 1st."
FYI, the boy is only grazed, not injured to the extent of heavy bleeding, but they decided to call the police.
I was so pek-chek that I told him off."Uncle, U settle him, then ur passengers dun nid to settle arh? U want to settle with him, u shld mak e sure that u empty ur bus 1st rite? We are all rushing for time, u noe?"
It seemed like the bus driver only then realised that his passsengers r on the bus and went to hail another bus for us to hop on. He then told me apologetically,"I will get another bus to send u all to the interchange." No brainers!!! *Roars*
In the end I had to take a cab to school. I will make sure TIBS pay me back my cab fare! U might think I very san-ba rite? My dearie even commented,"why people never go and confront the bus driver, u go and confront him?" I feel like smashing his head man! People dun say anything, then i cannot say arh. That's the problem with us, Singaporean, when we see sthg, we would choose to keep quiet rather than speaking up. Thanks to our education system, I must say. If i chose not to say anything, we might still be stupidly sitting inside the bus and waiting for the stupid bus driver to settle with the boy...

I feel that my family members including myself have a life of our own, way too much life of our own in fact. I think the fate factor plays a part as well. We seldom get to see one another. Usually if i bunked in at my dearie's place or if I happened to hang out late with dearie or frens, my mum will be home exceptionally early. When I had not seen her for quite some time, and tot that I would just tell dearie or frens tt i need to go home early to keep mum company, she would then not be at home. A very good illustration would be today. I was at home the entire day, only out for a few hours for tuition. I woke up at 8.30am this morning and found that my mum is already not at home! Sighz....
When I was back home in the noon, I tot that she would have been at home by then or even not, she should be back home pretty soon. Think I can't dabble in shares, since I wouldn't be a good speculator...I was wrong...she is not home yet. (at the time of print)
Haiz...to think that i told dearie that I would not meet him for today as I would want to keep mum company. in the end, I am keeping myself company. wat a joke!
i think i think too much for others liao. shall learn to think for myself ONLY as from now onwards.....aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite donning the image of Rudolph now, I still decides that i shld go enjoy myself, hence it shall be pubbing nite tonight...before i buried myself into the horrendous pile of DCC201 lecture notes, trying to figure something out for my final project.
I muz reali thank Shuyu for giving me all the advices she can, trying her best to help me solve my queries. Thanks Shuyu!!!! Coz i realli dun understand, or rather, can't follow the lectures at all. BUt Shuyu tried her best to help me generate ideas for the projects...*am so touched*

Hi, my name is Sandra Rudolph Ang. Yes, Rudolph is my middle name. Nice to mit u. in case, U dunno how Rudolph looks like, here is a picture of him.
Now u know why i am Rudolph? yes, i have caught the terrible flu virus and has been trying to get rid of all the mucus from my nose since ytd noon. took the flu medicine ytd nite and in the end, this morning felt so sleepy that keeping awake in class is a challenge. I regretted not listening to dearie to rest at home for the day. when i reach home at 5plus in the evening, i jus drop dead on my bed and slept for 2 hours...
Tmr still have to go to sch...shitty life! jus becoz of a 2 hours make-up lesson. but wat to do? bo-bian!
have been meeting up with dearie everyday recently. i dunno why, initially we have agreed that we will onli mit up on his off days (since he works 2 days, off 2 days) but dunno from when, we started to mit everyday. only once or twice in a month, i will not see him. a good example is today. he is on nite shift and i had tuition till evening time so i din see him today. but strictly speaking i did see him lah, in the morning lor...coz i bunked in at his hse ytd. kinda not used to it...which is a warning signal of we being too close together....
but dearie said something ytd which is quite sweet lah (in my opinion ok!): "Although when u bunked in at my place, i have lesser space to sleep, blanket always kenna snatched away in the middle of the nite, and in fact, the sleep is not comfortable at all, but i still like u to sleep beside me..."
haha...dun bother abt me...jus let me sink in this blissful boat of love...wahaha...i'd rather be drowned...keke...
