3rd day of mummy at genting

Didn't have time to post yesterday. Brought Caydence to CWP. Since I am going to walk there, I made a daring decision to bring the heavy duty stroller, so that Cay can be more comfortable during the walk there and back, also it makes things easier when she wants her water or just feeling sleepy. The carrying of the stroller up n down the stairs is tough but other than that, most of times it is fine, except when Cay throws tantrum.

Day 2 of Mummy in Genting

This morning Cay woke up at 7.45am much later than what I had expected. She seemed to be full of energy today. Usually she will take thr morning nap about 3 hrs after she woke up. Today she was not sleepy even after 4 hrs. Finally got her to nap but it was less than an hour n she woke up at around 1pm.

Got her to nap again at 4pm and this time round, she managed to nap for 2 hrs.

The daddy gave her maths n gym lessons in the evening. i really admire the papa sometimes as he do have a way with Cay.

Tomorrow will be just mummy myself alone with Cay as daddy will be out. Just one more day and my mum will be back. (cay actually ask for my mum this morning when she woke up, how sweet.)

24/7 mummy…again

Time flies, it has been a year since mummy went Genting. The last time she went was in July last year when I'm still enjoying my maternity leave. This time round, she went during the June holidays.

The missy woke up at 7am today, earlier than her usual wake up time. Everything was pretty alright except 2 things.

1) poo poo
Hub decided to go out for lunch. Cay's first outing since she is sick and grounded since last Tuesday. She used to poo every morning when we put her on potty but recently things changed, she started to poo on diapers again. To make things worse, she will poo at irregular timings.Usually, we tried to make her poo before we go out. we do succeed sometimes. Today, she simply refused to poo and after lunch at NTU, and grocery shopping at jurong point ntuc, we thought of going Sheng Siong at woodlands, upon reaching there, the missy started to behave weirdly, refusing everything and started to cry. We decided to head home. in the car, i saw her facial expression and knew she has poop. Usually she doesn't even bother until we found out, but today she started to feel uncomfortable and cry in the car. daddy had to rush up to the house n clean for her.

2) the sensitive skin
For the past few months, it has been well. even if there's some redness in the private area, after applying some medication, it will go off pretty soon. but today i spotted a pretty bad red patch near the genital area, after applying medication a couple of times, stilk doesn't work. fingers cross. hope it gets better tomorrow.

Finally

Finally it's the end of term 2. with the last day being mother tongue fortnight closure and today collaboration with zhong hua hospital for the carnival, it is really taking a toll on me.

Especially when it's coupled with the annoying toothache which needed root canal treatment. I actually started to feel the pain in my lower left jaw, thought it's a cavity that needs filling, turns out the dentist discovered a very bad cavity in one of the molars in my upper left jaw. the dentist then took out the tissues that is supposed to be causing the pain but in the end the pain in the lower jaw is still there and to make things worse, there is also a pain in my upper jaw, which by right shouldn't feel any pain since the inflamed portion has been taken out. and that's not the worst. the dentist couldn't find all the root canals and has to refer me to a specialist. $$$$$ and I am trying to save money for my Npl.,Damn.

2 weeks of runny nose

Never did I expect that a normal cold with runny nose can drag for 2 long weeks. It started on 2 mondays back in school, took mc on Tuesday, hoping to recover real soon but in the end baby Caydence caught the virus. Instead of resting at home, we had to rush her to the pediatrician in the afternoon as she needs to get well before her vaccination on the following Thursday.

Her runny nose goes on and off while mine is perpetually like a leaking tap.

Might need to visit the doctor again soon. I'm sick and tired of it. And I certainly do not want Caydence to be sick again.

Baby Caydence's first milestone

At 4 month 6 day, baby Caydence is able to flip over from her back to her tummy!

She has been pretty reluctant to try this "stance", despite our encouragement.

This afternoon, she was playing with her Dad when suddenly she just flipped over. Just like that. Well, it matches her character very much, she doesn't like to do things against her will.

I hope she will be this "不鸣则已，一鸣惊人“ in whatever she does in future.
